Far out... Sometimes you forget how old these QF planes look. But it always feels great to be flexing our passports, doesn't it? Good to see QF gives you 2 full meals, and their catering has always been good.
Another great review Aidan. I have fallen in love with the entire country literally. You should fly with ANA, you can get and use velocity points to get tickets. Best service, plenty of legroom and it was a great 9.5 hour flight from Sydney to Tokyo literally the day after you left Japan. Hope you enjoyed it!!

NIce one man. On the bright side these planes will be replaced soon......we just have to wait till 2026 lol. I have read that qf will upgrade some a330s that will continue flying for the next few years, so hopefully that happens soon as these seats/screens are way past use by date lol. Hopefully you get the 300 on your return, its much better!
Great video. Yeah it's an embarrassment using clapped out and cramped A330's on long international flights. It would have made a great comparison to catch JAL or ANA on the return leg. They have this fantastic thing called legroom which makes for a much more enjoyable flight!

Great video as usual aiden, i just recently got back from NYC flying with qantas and they where great especially with the newer interior, its a shame that qantas didnt refurb all of the a330s when they upgraded some of them as i believe its the a330-300s that have the 787 style seats which are much better with bigger more responsive screens. hope you enjoyed your time in tokyo and had the refurbed aircraft on the way back!
those seats dont really look much different to economy i thought the Qantas A330 has the lay flat beds? and the Toilet im 6ft8 and concerned aobut being able to fit in the toilet
Qantas 330's are the worst planes to fly on the food is discusting and the service is by cheap crew they find overseas ie NZ flight crew.. The CEO of Qantas couldn't care less she flies 1st on the 380 aircraft because she knows how old these planes are..no wonder they are on the same par as Nth Korean Airlines..

I’ve travelled the same journey. From the lounge and flight. However when I arrived in Tokyo I decided to get a private transfer to my accommodation.
