A very modern boho look for this piece! I was today years old when I learned you could buy plastic webbing. Very smart to use that for the inserts. So much better than before!
You always produce a beautiful finish with your spray gun, and Hazel is such a pretty country colour. Congratulations on another beautiful and unique piece. 👏🏼
I cannot imagine what you had originally in your mind to do with this dresser, but you finally decided made it look UNRECOGNIZABLE! AWESOME! FRESH! UPDATED!! Maybe one of your most BEAUTIFUL transformations! The legs are amazing! They give the piece a unique and interesting character! The cane was an excellent choice to get rid of those awful gold mirrors! Thanks so much for sharing
Now THIS is a transformation. WOW! I'd buy it... and I'm fussy. The A-frame legs were a perfect decision. Then the cane drawer front insert with that paint choice. PERFECT!
I love Kreg jig. I have the older pocket hole jig but now have this one on my Christmas list. Such a beautiful makeover. You have a gift taking these 80s pieces and giving them new life 🥰 thanks for sharing Kara ❤
Very creative update. I feel the outcome still has a modern flare with that A Frame. I believe that style is from the 90's. The 80's still had a chunkier cottage silouhette.
WOW! Great transformation! I LOVE the A - frame legs and the rattan inserts, but not crazy about the green/gray paint. It would be hard to incorporate that color in most rooms. I still like matchy match even though that’s an old fashioned way of decorating. I bet this sells super fast.
You did really well with that design, I just loved the end finish. You are an incredible pair, so glad that you are hitting your goals. Loving Blessings to you both, #LemonsToLemonadeFurniture
Great color! The cane was an interesting change and it looks great. The legs are a big no for me. I don't like that they are on the outside of the dresser. Looks kind of clunky. Thanks for sharing all your hard work.
I really like this. Original and interesting. Best of all, it wasn't mid century or an antique to start out with. You may have found a profitable niche. PS. Kudos for home schooling.
I think it turned out so cute! Great job, it's different too. I've never seen one like it. Everybody likes those pieces of furniture that nobody else has 😂
I love the way that turned out. Another beautiful piece! I have a question, how do you handle painting during the winter? I have 4 pieces I am trying to get done for our bedroom. But at night it drops into the 30’s. I think I picked a bad time to start painting furniture.
Great call ~ would have used the real cane ~ soak it, stain it ~ you went to so much effort why not push it UP by using natural material ~ I sure enjoy your videos ~ you two are making a positive difference in furniture make overs ~ thank you ~ oh, am purchasing the Kreg Jig ~ thank you for all your tips!
Well, that is awesome. When you said that you were not going to go with the modern jive I frowned 😢. I have have to say this looks pretty modern to me. I’m also not a fan of the natural legs but these are amazing. I would definitely purchase something like this. If it sells quickly do you think your client base will start trending that way?
Great job. Don't know what your plan was for "modern " so I don't know how this compares. This version is " Cottage Modern ". The legs are really what "lifts" it too a new level, design-wise". I am sure you will have no problem selling it. P.S. I see good shop safety habits, closed toe shoes. Or maybe it's bc the weather has turned a little colder?
I was just researching how to build these legs for a project I’m working on. Thank you so much for the tutorial ! The dresser looks 100 x better after her makeover!
Thank you! Hope it helps! I haven’t mastered it yet so I didn’t do a full tutorial BUT anyone with some basic woodworking skill can definitely figure that out ❤️
Hi Kara. This piece came out just beautiful. I have a question about the plastic caning. The link takes me to actual rattan material caning. Can you clarify what you used, please? Also, my hubby is starting projects in his retirement and just got a KREG Concealed Hinge Jig. I might just surprise him with the Pocket Hole Jig for Christmas. TY !!!
try this one? although the description says soak it...I see that now! Lol BUT I promise you.. what showed up at my door,,,,its plastic!! ha! www.amazon.com/dp/B0BGN6KNBC?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details
I like it. And I think the legs are pretty and in the right style for the piece, but I feel that they are a little too large. I don't think they should be wider(deeper) than the depth of the base of the dresser.

Thank you friend ❤️ yes plastic=cheaper 😂
Love the color and the rattan inserts. Kreg jig is a must for anyone. Pays for itself on first use.
I am so glad you decided to replace that gold mirrors. Great idea to add the funky legs and the canning. The piece has a new life now. ❤
You always produce a beautiful finish with your spray gun, and Hazel is such a pretty country colour. Congratulations on another beautiful and unique piece. 👏🏼
Love the A frame leg addition. Wow factor!!!! Really cool addition that I haven’t seen before on furniture. Well done as usual. 🎉
Thank u so much!!

Thank you so much Barbara!
This turned out very unique. I feel that it is a 'modern' style with a little retro in the background. Great job.
I love Kreg jig. I have the older pocket hole jig but now have this one on my Christmas list.
Such a beautiful makeover. You have a gift taking these 80s pieces and giving them new life 🥰 thanks for sharing Kara ❤
Awesome transformation! So glad you did not use the mirror inserts. Love the legs. Great choices with what you did 💖💖💖
Very creative update. I feel the outcome still has a modern flare with that A Frame. I believe that style is from the 90's. The 80's still had a chunkier cottage silouhette.
You did a great job on the dresser. I didn't like the mirrors either, lol. I didn't know you could pop them out. So glad you did. ♥️
Love this dresser. So glad you didn’t go modern. Beautiful makeover, love the color.
WOW! Great transformation! I LOVE the A - frame legs and the rattan inserts, but not crazy about the green/gray paint. It would be hard to incorporate that color in most rooms. I still like matchy match even though that’s an old fashioned way of decorating. I bet this sells super fast.
I absolutely love how this turned out!! I’ll have to try creating some legs now when I feel brave! Kreg Jigs are so awesome!!! ❤❤❤
I love the transformation... wow the cane truly Pulled the legs and everything together....very beautiful 🥰👍
Thank you so much!!
I love the cane in the drawers ❤❤❤
Absolutely love this! The cane and legs make it look modern for me! ❤
That is cool! I love the rattan and A-frame legs.
Loved the colors and the bare wood and rattan.
Really love the way you updated this dresser. Not sure what your original plan was going to be, but this looks fantastic. Take care😊
Good decision. It's beautiful.
It’s still modern style IMO
Looks really nice
Love the paint color
🙏
Perfection in simplicity.
Adorable! Love the pivot! Nicely done. And I love that y’all work together.
What a wonderful transformation.
It's a lovely mix of farmhouse and modern. Good job!
Love it! You made the right move. Glad you ditched the mirrors.
You did really well with that design, I just loved the end finish. You are an incredible pair, so glad that you are hitting your goals. Loving Blessings to you both, #LemonsToLemonadeFurniture
Thank you so much! Blessings to you as well. Thank you for your support!!!
OMG! SO Florida vibe 🌴Love it you’re so creative
Love that you went with the rattan and green instead of keeping the mirror inserts.
I like what you did instead of Modern. Looks good!!
Great color! The cane was an interesting change and it looks great. The legs are a big no for me. I don't like that they are on the outside of the dresser. Looks kind of clunky. Thanks for sharing all your hard work.
The best one so far. I love it
Very nice makeover. Awesome leg build too
oh yeah those mirror inserts needed to go! Love this color and agree - kreg jigs are awesome.
Great make over Kara - thanks for sharing!
Amazing transformation!!! Very inspirational!!
AMAZING!! I love the rattan inserts!
What a great piece. It's totally unique. I'd be broke if I lived near you in TX. Great job
Glad you like it!
Looks modern enough to me! Love it!
Love it! Great idea for the legs!

That Kreg jig is awesome! I have one from them! they're seriously the best! Great recommendation! Also, this piece turned out awesome!
Thank u soooo much my friend ❤️
Definitely the right direction
That’s so beautiful. Yes you made the right move…
Is some of the cane a little crooked? I think the color is really beautiful! Totally agree with your choice to get rid of the mirrors. :)
Well done looks a lot better.
That looks fabulous! I think that you still modernized it a lot! I would love to have one of those Kreg Jig tools. ❤
You need one my friend ❤️❤️
I think it turned out so cute! Great job, it's different too. I've never seen one like it. Everybody likes those pieces of furniture that nobody else has 😂
So true!!
Another great job, Kara❣️. -Jill 😘
Thank u Jill! I always look for your comments ❤️
Love it but how do you open the drawers now?
Love the green paint x
Think you should have done something to the A frame legs maybe a shade darker paint also do u not get air bubbles when spraying poly ?
You are so talented!!! ❤
Thank u love!
Love the look! ❤
I love the way that turned out. Another beautiful piece!
I have a question, how do you handle painting during the winter? I have 4 pieces I am trying to get done for our bedroom. But at night it drops into the 30’s.
I think I picked a bad time to start painting furniture.
it's beautiful. You did good, girly.
Certainly looks a whole lot better than the original piece :-)
Love, love, love!
Wow! What an improvement 👏 out of curiosity what is considered cold in Texas?
I live in the Northeast and can't paint in my garage, so I have heard. It isn't heated :( Now I have to wait until Spring to flip!
Yes! It's awsome!
I could be completely off-base here, but is the spray radius of your sprayer like super small?
its beautiful. I think the legs should have been painted the same color as the cane. I believe it would have brought it all together.
Yep👍🏼

You go girl!!

I was thinking of doing black with black legs and polished up mirror pieces…and then…I just couldn’t get passed those mirrors 😂
That would be “…past those legs.”
I meant “… past those mirrors.”
Thank you! I totally need the grammar police!
It’s beautiful ❤
You are very kind to your partner but you are one of the best...My 3 favorites are: You, Kaćha and Sabs Rehabs...🤩
Those are some unique legs you put on the sides. I like them. Good job.
Looks great!
Great idea using woven design!
Thank you! 😊

Cottage modern! Awesome description! Original thought was black with black legs and shiny mirror slats..and I just couldn’t get over those mirrors! 😂
@@LemonstoLemonadeFurniture don't blame you. Mirrors are so 80's.
Beautiful! Loving it
Thank you so much Jade!

I don't understand the A frame legs. They look out of place.
