Just came back from the range after shooting my brand new Ruger LCP Max, along with my LCP II 22LR, and S&W Shield. The 9mm shield is by far the most accurate. The 22LR is also very accurate, and completely reliable with Aguilla ammo. (It hates bulk remington). The Max I had high hopes for. I had lubricated and cleaned before the first use. The 10rd mags are a bitch to load the last round. Using S&B 380 92gr, I had 2 failure to feeds, and 2 not going back into battery on the first 10 rounds. Changed mags, and the problems persisted. I changed to Norma hollow points, and it fed fine, but still had to slam the back of the pistol again to get it fully seated. Its hanging up somewhere, on both magazines. The trigger works fine, but it bites the crap out of my finger, no matter where I place it on the trigger. Perhaps a 3rd party trigger will fix that. Only 50 rounds through it so far, but I may have to call Ruger for a fix. I also need to adjust the sights, as it shoots left even at 5 yards when perfectly lined up.
Yours shoots a heck a lot better than mine. Mine shoots low as crap on poa vs poi. I’m gonna keep practicing with it but I have a ton of other guns that I have no problem with.
@@awannabewithagun2975 Seems like the lcp max is designed with HCD in mind. Shoots accurate and cycles good. Having said that ive seen it not mushroom in gel. So i switched to Underwood and also added 13 pound recoil spring. Thanks for the review.

I like Ruger, but they need to up their mag game….giving only 1 mag when most companies are giving 2 or 3, is just silly.

I picked up the LCP Max Elite (w/ red trigger) and I'm very pleased with it. I've only been to the range once but I had absolutely no issues with it.

is the frame Cerakoted or is the color molded into the polymer? Looks Bossa Nova. I've put all the MCARBO upgrades on mine and it's infinately better.
