Simmons and Alesis could sell an add-on pack that includes pedal seat and sticks for say $40. That way beginners would have it all right out of the box and more experienced drummers wouldnt have to buy it. Its nice having it all together.
Sticks come in the box with all electric drums on any level… but a pedal and seat at $40😳 oh no…. Make it at $99 or $129 package so that they can give some quality and I’m all for it.

Still jammin on this kit. It's still as fun as it was when i grabbed it. Iron cobra 600 double bass pedal is flawless on this one.

Playing drums for so long the reason they don’t put a bass pedal or throne is because there not beginning grade drum sets and for beginners I wouldn’t really suggest getting the most expensive electronic drums or acoustic drums, my biggest down fall has always been buying cymbals, also I don’t ever remember many acoustic sets coming with pedals
I understand but…… it should at least have the same pedal as the cheaper set. It’s actually not a bad pedal and they’re already making them for the lower model. Think about they’d pay less per unit by ordering more… so sticking it in should be that much more.
@@KeithronPowell you probably been playing as long as me, so you know no instruments for said pro level is not cheap it’s all about the money for these companies. I have had the same double bass pedal I bought at 17 or 18 and I’m 40.

Based on the look and the packaging, it looks like Alesis and Simmons kits are both manufactured by the same company. Curious to know if the circuit boards might indicate that.
I said the same thing…. I do know that most often there are only a few manufacturers and they allow companies to send them the specs they want and build to their requests. So…. Ya might be on to something

Any of them over $999 will not have a pedal. You can buy them separately. Not to mention if you’re not careful you’ll wind up with one that is inferior in every way but has a pedal.

@@KeithronPowell my first drumset was a Rogers kit that my dad surprised me with in 7th grade. Used of course, all of the hardware was completely broken down, and I had to figure out how to get it together. That made those drums something I was proud of before I even played them--not just a toy out of a box.
Just returned it.. the cymbals and hihat were just trash.. they would make sounds when not intended or not when struck.. the snare was super bad with doubled up sounds .. I recommend the Rolland or spend more money .. I sure don’t recommend the simons
So crosstalk was too high.. and the snare issue was a firmware fix. That’s simple.
Good stuff just not an issue anymore as I returned it lol .. but good tech knowledge.. is it obvious I’m more of an acoustic drum guy lol
