    The eyebrows threw you off-balance at the start I think. They went wrong (Benedict Cumberbatch-ish) early on and make the eyes look too deep set and then you tried to compensate with the lower face. It is so easy to see such things in someone else's work... 😆 I don't think I could sculpt this. Good stuff.
    I realised later this wasn't the problem you thought as per the video (you moved the eyeball forward), so just sharing what I saw. Hugh Laurie has a much sharper and flatter eye brow ridge If you see it in profile, his forehead is almost flat to the eyebrow, while your eyebrow protrudes considerably. It is much less curved. This had gone wrong before you placed the eyeball.

    Hi Anand, amazing work. Can I ask you why do you use perspective deactivated to do the head? Most artist who do likeness keep it active. I've never understood what's best to do

    This is excellent, thank you. Can I ask what material/matcap you're using?

    • @anandpg_art
      @anandpg_art  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thanks! I generally use a de-saturated version of the "polyskin" matcap in zbrush. Sometimes I switch to a matcap called "x_undoz_Mud" which you can easily find on any of the zbrush forums. I also use "BasicMaterial2", which comes as standard.

      Hi Chaitanya, regular figure-drawing is absolutely the best way to improve sculpting. There are lots of timed pose videos available on TH-cam. Here are a couple of good playlists:
      th-cam.com/play/PL7EWYwaF6E-FZ8JiBlz2tF1DQUCw-GCmn.html
      th-cam.com/video/NnvlEf0PeTE/w-d-xo.html
      Also, Proko's YT channel is a good resource for study :www.youtube.com/@ProkoTV
      As for anatomy books, I would recommend books by Burne Hogarth, Stephen Rogers Peck and Bridgeman.
