    I love Diani, such beautiful beach. I just stay at the hotel and the beach all day when I'm at Diani and don't explore outside at all. I just love the beach.

    • @abocas
      @abocas ปีที่แล้ว

      Weather in the Kenyan coast is always warm. May is in the "big" rain season but the sun is usually still shining every day.
      Temperatures are very stable at the coast. Day time temperatures normally only vary between around 21-22 to 30-31 degrees through the year.

    the only problem that visitors should be warned and aware about is the beach boys , you can't walk 10 feet without one or more of these scammers latching on to you and following you up the beach and when you finally get rid of them another will appear, this has to be dealt with as it puts people off from enjoying their time at the beach

    • @mariankoniuszko666
      @mariankoniuszko666 ปีที่แล้ว

      if you get local girlfriend they won't approach, tested by me and it works!

    • @abocas
      @abocas ปีที่แล้ว

      @@mariankoniuszko666 or any local or African, male or female😉that works too. Beach boys also target couples, white couples.
      But apart from that ... yes, they are a nuisance and hard to get rid of. But get rid of them quickly. Perhaps not a comfort but there are a lot less nowadays compared to 10-12 years ago.
      Rumour has it that they went to greener pastures in Tanzania (which is less corrupt and a lot cheaper) as more tourists go there now.
      Beach boys have made many people's holiday life so miserable that they swear never to return. So for Kenyan tourism's sake ...yes, it should be dealt with on a legal scale.

    Honestly, "the train" and SGR is now the same thing. I think since around 2017-2018.
    SGR is about 4 hours between Mombasa and Nairobi.
    But getting to and from the train station at both ends and the ridiculous "worse than the airport security" is ...... well, I don't have the patience for that.
    I rather go by bus because at least something is moving and there are so much to see on the road trip. Or catch a plane.
