My opinion of this couple is they sound like people that live in a place where they are isolated/separate from people and their everyday life there. They are noting "observations" in a removed way. They could have done that anywhere in the islands (Jamaica, Barbados, etc) and it would have been a good place for them - black people, a beach, closer to America. Just an opinion. Of course, Africa might have been easier on the budget for what they got.

*Living at the Kenyan Coast. There's less Poverty and white exploitation in the highlands and a much more progressive, educated population. Both in urban centers and rural areas. A person who has lived in places in Nairobi and Central Kenya will have a much more different experience.

As a Kenyan, i can say for a fact youre living my dream life which is being at the Kenyan coast. Im 25 so i still got a bit of work to do before i get to do that but big up to you for chasing your dreams. Also when it comes to corruption, I dont condone it personally but i would be lying if i said i also havent benefitted from that corruption. Depends on how you look at it 🔥 Also when u mentioned the old white guys with young black females, that is a thing in Kenya, the guys in this case are what we call sponsors, and you could say the old white man is exploiting the young black girl for her body but i assure u, the black young girl is also exploiting the white guy as well for his money. Even exchange

This is 100% true and honest. Thanks for taking time to share your experiences. Diani was previously a small exclusive enclave for wealthy Europeans who built their homes in the area with quiet, privacy and access the pristine white sands along the South Coast Over time, locals from villages in rural areas started streaming to the area seeking employment in "wazungu" homes as househelp, cooks and gardeners etc. This gradually changed the area due to the growth of poor population. Pollution and accumulation of garbage due to lack of organized sanitation services was inevitable. Poverty, dependence on western economic ideology has left locals dissillusioned. People lived in small villages around these areas and didn't know they were poor as they lived beey simple basic lives off the land and their needs were few. With the advent of western education, religion, money, heigene, clothing and generally all the foreign ways of life, came all the poverty and all its ill's (e.g prostitution) etc. I can't stand my own body odor after working out let alone someone else's but I'd agree with the wife that choosing feeding my family trumps deodorant, Lol! Hopefully the local community will learn to work together with the government to turn all these challenges into opportunities and make it a better place to live, with meaningful economic growth. Peace and love to y'all.

You're right! Not only do most African countries care less about paved roads, I think it has something to do with curruption and low standard. I think Africa has very low standards. All other countries in other continents never forget to pave their roads no matter how currupt their leaders are. Unfortunately, we have the most unpaved roads of the world here in Africa. Come here to Nigeria and it's the same crap. Suffice to say that it's common across Africa, except South Africa.

Give the country of South Africa a 90 day visit.
Experience Johannesburg: Industrial/Urban, with superb shopping and suburban residences.
      Durban:
Seaside/beaches with relaxed working class Zulu and Indian Culture.
You may change your mind about remaining in the USA.
*The main downsides I found was:
-The lack of electricity called "load-shedding"...although the black-outs are scheduled, and the duration is minimal in some areas.
-It has only been approx 30 years since Apartheid ended.
There are still some healing and equality issues to accomplish.

I wonder what you would feel if you were back in slavery, oppression and someone came to tell you about how bad you smell. It's amazing how quickly people forget. How trivial when a people are trying to advance themselves. You are adding to the burden. So since you are not in tune with what is vital and important maybe this is not the place for you. the humanity of a people should be paramount. Glad you shared so we know who you really are.

Wow the audacity.. We have been on 4 different continents, many different countries. Have you ever traveled? I suspect you have never left your country. Get your paper up if you can. As for us, Not that it is any of your business. But we are financially good. I did not expect that you were a fool until you started to write this childish immature comment. Learn some decorum, I know that is probably difficult for you. Think before you speak, only children speak the first thing that comes to mind.

Muzungus are foreigners, not White folk. You all are Muzungus too. There are Old men with young Filipino in the Philippines and it's no big deal. It's certainly not frowned upon. You mentioned good salsa. I like the Kenyan Katchumbari better than pico de gallo. You mentioned Italians, Indians networking. Those are nationalists. American is a nationalist. If you are comparing nationalists, you must say Americans, including all Americans, regardless of race. You can't just compare Black Americans to a country of people. Compare Black Americans to the Untouchables in India or Afro-Italians.

...and lets be clear, the few Black Americans that are in Kenya are there as tourist, not as business persons. Chinese, Arabs and Indians immigrate looking for business opportunities not as tourists. Some are even there to work off debt.

Do you wish you can be an American? Why are you on my page complaining I didn't ask your opinion. You would do better fixing your own problems that you have, instead of worrying about what I'm doing.

@nakho3550 Pan Africans call whites mzungus. I’m not concerned with Filipinos I am concerned with Black people worldwide being mistreated. I like salsa, that’s not pico and it’s not kachumbari. I want to work with Black Americans not Americans. I have love for all Black people globally and hope to work like minded Black people. I’m in Kenya, black American, I am a business person and I’m not the only one. What are you talking about? We will post another video soon to discuss the dangers of the colonized mind.

They truly speak English but not American English for sure.do you want them to speak with American accent and why should they do that? You come to a country it's your job to learn their language and not the other way round. In kenya it's illegal to be in love with minors and that's anyone under 18 years. So anyone above 18 is an adult and as long as they have sound mind of making their own decisions the rest of Kenyans can do nothing. Talking of colonised mind, it depends on how you see it and who do you think has an issue? Is it the person whom your calling colonised mind or is it you who have stayed away in captivity for almost 700 years or do both of you think have something in common and should educate each other so as to avoid making similar mistakes in future?
