    When you are shooting your pics you have to take in account that you will have to crop the image after a lens correction. So, it's better to take your picture with more dead space around it, that way, you don't lose so much of your image after cropping.
    Also when I use the lens correction tool, I also select remove CA.

    I was looking at last video of peter mckinnon about how to do tilt-shift effect but his video was only about the « tilt » blur effect so there I am for the shift effect :)
    Thanks a lot 💪🏼

  • @Schixotica
    @Schixotica 7 ปีที่แล้ว

    The reason it looks weird or fanned out is because while you partially fixed the lens warp there is real perspective "warp" because of the way the building reaches up into the sky while you're on the ground.

    Is there a way you can fake zoom? i know thats a stupid question because crop exists but thats now what i'm talking about. I want that zoomed in effect without having to zoom in to lose quality. Not sure if that makes sense

    • @Amerifilms
      @Amerifilms 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      What are you using? premiere or final cut? yes you can fake zoom in both and its actually really good specially if original footage is 4 K cause then you can zoom in and still be sharp

    Then: learn how to shoot shoot architecture
    Then: buy a tilt shift lens
    Then: fill a tank with gas
    Then: throw the perspective tool inside the tank
    Then: light it up!
    Then: go shoot buildings like a real man.
    (Spoiler alert: I'm not criticizing the author of this video :-) thumbs up for this great tutorial!)
