Sounds great! I'm using the FM3 and I'm considering switching to the FM9. I've been playing a while with the QC as well. Both of the units sound great but the FM3 has always been my favorite.
@@BagusWibisono There are many. For me, the tone is better. The effects, cab sims, crazy high res. stereo reverbs are on another level. QC has a better on unit interface but no PC interface but I think it is coming. They demoed something at NAMM 2023. Bottom line, QC is about 5+ years behind Fractal in terms of development. FM9 is a great modeler. Are you in the market for one? Which are you thinking of getting- and also, what are your specific needs- use case?

@@BagusWibisono It is not easy to describe but one reason is that for me the QC offers a bit too much gain (most of the time I play metal but I also play a lot with my strat) and when the gain is lowered it may sound a bit too thin and it still has some "leftover" artifacts / high end weirdness. I cannot put it into words but I just feel more comfortable playing through the FM3. That being said I still enjoy playing through the QC, it's just a matter of tweaking the settings and trying out what suits your playing style. One thing worth mentioning is that I had already found my favourite go-to tones with the FM3 and when I got the QC it felt like I was just chasing for the same kind of tone.
Side note: Make sure you are adding a link to your gear in the description. It helps the brands you use to get a better Search Engine Optimization score (Backlinks) and will help if or when you want to monetize your channel. Keep up the great work!!!

I feel like their choice of styling for the device as well as the naming scheme are probably hurting potential sales to more modern looking units like Helix. This reminds me of the Line 6 m9 or something from how it looks
i own the Axe 3,Kemper Stage and QC but i prefer to play with my Kemper,i`ve been a fractal user since 2013,i still like the Axe 3 but Kemper is my number 1
Thanks James. That white box is actually a printer paper box 😂 I put it on there to raise it off my carpet for better ventilation for my FM9 but the box was too small and I just left it 😂 I need a better solution for sure!
Mate, the 'too digital' response is dead in the water now. If you think this unit sounds digital then I honestly don't know what to say. You're in the 0.0001%
Yeah I gotta say that was a fucking awful take this late in the game brother. If there’s something about a tube amp you need then you can still use one instead but decent ones will be 10 grand soon unless playing thru 5 unobtainable PCB boards in a ply-wood box with hot valves does not bother you. Hard to deny that the Fractal stuff sounds stellar in person and as far as price Fractal will always be working effectively 24/7 365 to make everything even better than it was just the day before so the list price is a bargain in the long run. 🤘🏻

Great tones it cones across a wide big sound what speakers are you using,could you connect from fm9 into x2 108 headrush speakers for stereo???
Of course you can connect the FM9 to any speaker. I'm currently using RCF speakers as monitors.

Careful you might be blocking the air vent under the unit with it on a riser plate. It needs to span the whole width of the FM9

It has some of the best amp tones but the pitch block is weak. QC and other unites have better pitch.
