If I was a professional, this would definitely be the way to go. Travel light and compact. AS a home player, I find the FM3 has satiated my GAS ever since I had it.
I got an FM3 it’s so easy to carry around! I love it. Right now I carry a Kemper Player in my Laptop bag around when touring for studio jobs and actually it’s all you really need. One Kemper player, or FM3 and you are good to go. What a time to be alive! 🙏
That's a fantastic board, controlling your own in ears is fantastic too, such a clean and effective unit. Front of house will love you for all this work, i think i know who that is for your tour(same guy we had for the festvals this summer).. you've made your guitar tech so happy too...if not, I'll gladly be the happy tech with that rig.😅
Man, this is a sick build. You have lots of great tips in here for others to use. I really liked your soldering hands free gadget, it looked maybe 3D printed? I'm afraid if you try to pull that Fractal off the Temple, you could damage the sheet metal of the pedalboard! Dual lock is some touch stuff. I've gotten now to where I'll go "regular" fuzzy industrial strength velcro on the board and dual lock on the pedal. I've found that dual lock to dual lock is into diminishing returns territory if you ever want to get the piece off of the board again!! Great job, I loved the way you incorporated ears/mixer/gtr wireless all into one unit. This will make your set up time like under two minutes probably!!!
Thanks Mike! Yes that´s a 3D printed one. There are tons of free templates for those if you do have a 3D printer. I totally agree, I guess if I want to take it off, I´d get rid of the screws and then tackle one acrylic sheet after the other.....I will probably return to Velcro, it´s strong enough to handle pedals.
keep in mind that the 4 cable CAT systems only have shared ground and not common ground. on certain big mixing consoles like Allan and Heath, this can cause problems in some Occasions. If you just use the FM9 it will be fine tho. And the antennas, always use them vertically, if you use them in a horizontal position, which a lot of people do, it will reduce range immensely.
Thanks for the tips! I didn´t have any issues with humming or wireless range so far but I'll keep that in mind! In case it hums, it´s pretty easy to use the XLR outs of the FM9 directly since they are easily accessible :)
Hey man, this pedalboard is sick!!!! May I know what patchbox you´re using??? I´m asking as I couldn´t find the mixed Male/Female version of the pronomic NetCore SB-3M/SP-3F Set
@@DeeDammersOfficialthanks a lot for taking the time to answer, really appreciate it. So, basically your changing the connectors on the cable to fit the patch box???
Dude… this is FINE ART! 🤌🏽🍷
Thank you very much! :)

What is the brand model of the mixer? I am in the process of doing the same build. Thanks for sharing this will help me a lot.
Sure! It´s the "ART PowerMIX III"
I use a doormat, then i put the FM9 on it, that´s all 😆
Hahah that´s great! :D

I use adapters :) I might be soldering them myself, but so far adapters work fine
