Honestly it creeps the hell out of me that people are like "yeah this is good actually." The implication of all this stuff is that this is how everyone should be and if you were like this guy you would never have any problems in life. It is straight up propaganda, but because it's corporate propaganda and not for a foreign government or something people don't recognize it as such and are like "oh, he seems like a nice guy." I don’t know about that.. there’s probably something to be said for plotting your activities for when fewer others will be in your way (traffic, shopping, etc) You basic point about the AMOUNT of sleep one needs is true though.
People like Davis are what makes workplace an instant realm of positive vibes. There's better equilibrium in work-life balance now. God bless them both, I wish the world can have more of these legends.

Honestly if your dream job is just being in an office or at home just hammering some spreadsheets that’s great! That actually sounds like a dream to me. I'm autistic and I have ADHD, and I work retail. It's a daily nightmare for me. I wish I could get out but I don't even have a degree. I dropped out of college after 4 years because I got super burned out. I still had another year to go. :(

Thank you. I always thought waking up at 5 PM meant I was sleeping in, waking up late, and wasting my day. Now I know I'm actually extremely productive, waking up so early that I'm waking up the day before.
Honestly this guy has it all figured out. Positive thinking makes a huge difference to your overall wellbeing and sometimes it can be hard, talking to yourself like this even as a joke can be the first step in getting yourself out of those negative thought patterns.
He’s figured out how to cope. Positive thinking is a result of a positive life and vice versa. Slaves in a plantation could act positive about their work and sing songs all they want but it would only be hiding their hopeless reality. And in the evolution of capitalism, which went from plantation slavery, to factory slavery, to corporate slavery, we still choose to cope instead of facing the beast.
I had a boss kinda like this once in a corporate job. Just really positive and nice. On his worst days, instead of getting angry he would just wilt a little, like a sad flower :( Was a really great person to work for tbh!
As much as I feel like this dude is helping to perpetuate a lot of unhealthy habits and such, I do like how he approaches his workout routine. "I'm not the fastest, I'm not the strongest, but I'm still going to give it everything I've got" is great for something like that. Reminding yourself not to care as much about where you stand compared to others, just work out for your own health benefits and to reach a realistic goal. Don't be discouraged even if you're at the bottom of the barrel.
It seems like he's reshaping how we perceive corporate work and personal motivation. His resilience is undeniably infectious, and his positivity despite the utterly early mornings is commendable.
Watching a Danny video is a perfect stress reliever, been trying to apply for college and it has me stressin but a Danny video always makes me feel better
getting dressed up a little to do whatever tasks you have at home - nothing fancy, just coming up with something that looks put-together - does genuinely help for some people! obviously it’s different for everyone, but personally i have a hard time getting anything done if i haven’t put a little effort into my outfit, even if the effort is just making sure the colors go well together

This is a bro who accentuates so far beyond the paradigm that he is at the forefront of innovative frontiers when it comes to shifting the dialog regarding modern economic platforms and how they relate to personal entrepreneurship and the growth sector of emerging firms
Actually i really appreciate people who genuinely try to be their best in their everyday life. I feel like it's actually a worthy goal for everyone. This guy seems like he actually is dedicated to his Excel sheets, unlike many a "grind influencer" whose job is selling the look of working while they're influencing. Even with the baffling "been up since 4.30 am" remark it almost seems like instead of it being a brag about an insane and unrealistic morning routine it's more of a "couldn't sleep half the night bit still had to work, but I'm staying optimistic and doing great, so you can too! 🤗" kinda thing. Idk. He's a positive sorta fella is the vibe I'm getting.
Isn’t he doing the same thing? He’s still promoting a grindset, just in a nicer way that appeals to people the bros don’t. I’m not saying he’s doing it on purpose but look at all the people in the comments saying his mindset helped them. I doubt they’d consider themselves grinders

And I'll be honest, I LOVE my job. I don't personally understand the idea of needing to do a job that is your EVERYTHING. I love doing my job, and being able to turn the computer off, and start with my home life. I like that I work a job that is just a job, that I still love and take pride in. Even if it's just a like, basic desk finance job. IDK. there's something comforting in doing the same thing every day. I'm this pumped for my work most days too. Don't think I'd go on tiktok talking about it but you know, I guess someone's got to?

I can dig it! He’s not shitting on anyone, he just loves his early morning grind, I guess
He reminds me of my best friend who isn’t particularly career motivated but sets her alarm for 4.30 so she can lift weights for 2 hours before her 9-5 job. I’ll never understand it, but she’s never made me feel uncomfortable for not joining her
Honestly it creeps the hell out of me that people are like "yeah this is good actually." The implication of all this stuff is that this is how everyone should be and if you were like this guy you would never have any problems in life. It is straight up propaganda, but because it's corporate propaganda and not for a foreign government or something people don't recognize it as such and are like "oh, he seems like a nice guy." Maybe he is, but this whole grindset "dialed in" shit is still toxic and most people who push it genuinely hate the poor. He didn't really say that much, you have no idea what he thinks about a lot of this stuff.

I find the ‘wake up early’ thing so funny, I get up at 5:30am, and people are like wow! But I used to go to bed at 5:30am get up at 12. You still get the same amount done no matter when you start or finish!
I don’t know about that.. there’s probably something to be said for plotting your activities for when fewer others will be in your way (traffic, shopping, etc)
You basic point about the AMOUNT of sleep one needs is true though.
So you're having breakfast while everyone is at lunch; now you have to deal with groggy people & their ½ days lol 😉
He is actually kinda wholesome in a strange way.

People like Davis are what makes workplace an instant realm of positive vibes. I had a manager who had pretty much the same persona and wouldn't push us to get the job done, but rather provide us with the motivation needed to outpace the usual flow and efforts. There's better equilibrium in work-life balance now. God bless them both, I wish the world can have more of these legends.

I really like my nerdy remote job. But I have a lot of freedom and can structure my day mostly how I want, so it's genuinely nice.

Honestly this guy has it all figured out. Positive thinking makes a huge difference to your overall wellbeing and sometimes it can be hard, talking to yourself like this even as a joke can be the first step in getting yourself out of those negative thought patterns.
...or you can continue with the GIGO method. Which never works! 👍
He’s figured out how to cope. Positive thinking is a result of a positive life and vice versa. Slaves in a plantation could act positive about their work and sing songs all they want but it would only be hiding their hopeless reality. And in the evolution of capitalism, which went from plantation slavery, to factory slavery, to corporate slavery, we still choose to cope instead of facing the beast.
just got diagnosed with dialed in syndrome
It's nice to have a video about a wholesome person, instead of always being about drama or making fun. Really enjoyed this video Danny.

I had a boss kinda like this once in a corporate job. Just really positive and nice. On his worst days, instead of getting angry he would just wilt a little, like a sad flower :(
Was a really great person to work for tbh!
“Locked in” is how you would describe the multiple victims in his basement.
Actually i really appreciate people who genuinely try to be their best in their everyday life. I feel like it's actually a worthy goal for everyone. This guy seems like he actually is dedicated to his Excel sheets, unlike many a "grind influencer" whose job is selling the look of working while they're influencing.
