The Texas Hill Country Overland Route in One Day

We did the whole route in one day from Marble Falls to Mason to Fredericksburg. Very scenic 2WD route with a lot of water crossings. Only James River is a significant crossing. We had a great time

Great video! How many hours did you say it took the whole trail?

I started at 8am near Marble Falls and got to Fredericksburg at 6. We didn’t stop at any towns as we had been there before and packed all our food for the day.

do you think it was really worth checking out after all? Or was it just okay in the end?

Yes it was worth doing. We really enjoyed seeing this area. I’m not from Texas so it was a good tour of the hill country.
