Would A small teardrop trailer set up for off roading with my jeep gladiator make it through there OK? I’ve always wanted to go that route but I’m just not sure what if someone else is coming is it white enough to get through with a small off-road trailer? 👍

I love the Lost Coast! One of my favorite parts of the state. I've been up there a couple of times, camping in the back of my vintage Volvo. So much fun!

The foxgloves 5:01 are not native but are reminders of the loggers' wives that lived here back when Usal and other places along the Lost Coast were thriving redwood lumber mill communities over a hundred years ago. Thay have survived generation after generation amazing well. They are not invasive. Thank you for bringing us here.

I have done that numerous times I put them in my trunk cuz they are snapping turtles and put them back in the canal by my house . They come and lay eggs in my garden sometimes. Lol 😅

They'll get confused if you turn them opposite their travel. They'll never make their destination. On a different note: I've had a full lower lumbar replacement bc of a turtle. It was steering wheel-sized tire checked him and 4 years and 3 surgeries later I'm on a walker unable to fully stand upright at 45 years old.😢

You did that all wrong! Your supposed to place him across the street in the direction he's traveling.

When they get run over it is not a pretty picture afterwards. I was in a graveyard with my dad visiting family graves and walking from one grave to another. When walking I saw a poor turtle whom was already crushed. It was not a pretty situation for the poor thing. I felt bad. Normally the grave yard staff have helped the animals if they can but this poor baby was missed.

always move it to the side its facing its quite likely that if you turned it around it will turn around again just to go where it wanted to go
