I want to share that I accepted a teaching English job in South Korea back in 2009. Within 18 months, I paid off ALL of my student loan and credit card debt making me debt free in my mid 20’s (until I returned to the states). I know this isn’t retirement info. I just want to share for those interested in getting debt free. It’s totally possible to get debt free overseas. 🙌🏾

Believe it or not, I retired in my early 30s. There was a nagging voice in my head urging me to live my life another way. Everyone discouraged me from leaving my job, but I took the leap, and haven't been back since. It's amazing how we are programmed not to listen to our inner voice, to follow the herd and not our intuition. Society has done a real number on us. LOL. Yes, living the life that you want is possible. However, people are going to have to leave the matrix, in order to follow their dreams. And that, can be hard to do.
That can be very hard, no doubt. You have to want it more than you doubt it tho. But it very possible. I love that you listened to your heart ❤️

Most of us in the rat race, work 5 days a week so Friday is a write-off...at the most I crash on the couch on Friday night exhausted. Friday does not count as part of the weekend in my mind.
That was me when I returned from living in Gyeonggi-do, South Korea back to Florida in 2010. I been knew it was time to life abroad. That’s why my daughter and I are relocating to Qatar this year. The money….. lifestyle I want for the both of us will improve SIGNIFICANTLY after returning to life overseas. 🙌🏾
The opportunities are endless! Once we quit our jobs and moved to Malaysia our eyes were opened to a new world. A different/better way of living. So excited for your next move!

Obviously a top question is.....how do you (or do you even need to) generate income to support your lifestyle? Maybe you have covered this more fully in another video. If so, just point me to it! We retired, on massive savings and disability, at 55 and never looked back. We do not travel full time, but we do get around.
Our signs to quit our jobs pretty much covered everything you described, but unfortunately, we had to work 30 years with all those symptoms to get to retirement!!!
Hey guys thanks for watching and commenting. As for income we’ve touched on it briefly but don’t mind going over it with you. We have multiple streams of income. We do affiliate marketing, we get paid for sponsorships and we also do paid house sits. At one point we both were online English teachers and taught students from China from our computers. We’v created and sold ebooks on “The Great Escape” Long story short we generate income from multiple sources. Oh. We’re also ex military so there’s that lol.

I think the best approach for us was practicing minimalism first. Just downsizing and learning to live with less really helped us when it came time to let go.

We Freelance online, there are many ways to make income online and thru social media. We also have a Retired Military income.
Im not brave enough to make that leap yet.
