  • Location: Fuller Park Pond, Boise, Idaho
    Bait: Live Worms
Rig: Weighted Float on an Ugly Stick Rod & Pfleuger Spinning Reel.
    Species: Crappie and Bluegill
Back at Fuller Pond, looking for some bass, but willing to catch more crappie and bluegill. It turns out the bass weren't biting. In fact, almost nothing was biting. Despite the slow bite, I was happy to hook into a good-sized crappie, a big bluegill for my local ponds, and even a little red-eared sunfish from a few feet offshore. It wasn't my best day, but I still had fun catching three different species.
Thanks for joining me on my fishing adventures. I hope to see you again next week.

I finally caught a black crappie at fuller park recently! 😁There's also some really nice pumpkinseed there too. I love fuller now. Plus its super clean with that nice cool canal water from the river flowing in.
When I was there I saw a man fly fishing catch a nice largemouth. Probably about 14 inches if i had to guess.
I also wonder if there are any catfish at Fuller.

Awesome! I plan on going back to catch some of the smaller panfish with my tenkara rod. I would love to get a bass out of there too, but that may be a goal for next year. Glad you were able to get that crappie. Love it!
