Content quality > length. His production quality has increased insanely since he started doing this more regularly. There’s no point having minutes of dribble if it doesn’t add anything to the overall video imo
Yeah I think it’s a balance. I’ve already been making my videos longer. Most used to be 4-6 minutes. Now they’re 7-10 usually. Much longer though and I feel it’ll just get waffly. I like to keep them concise
I disagree. TBH the short length is one of the things I love about these reviews. It tells you everything you need to know, you know the mods, you know what it's like to drive ... what more is there? I follow JayEmm on Cars and I almost always find myself tuning out or skipping forwards because it just becomes waffle. So, in my opinion, the KiwiCarLife video length is perfect.
True I was a bit confused as to why there were no filters on the ITB’s. And you are definitely in an NA engine you want cold air. Still went pretty good though
I have a brother-in-law who drives a B18C swapped (and turbo fitted) 1991 ED3 Civic LX sedan (NZ-assembled) that does 300 hp. You should do a video on it!
Yeah man, haven’t heard of anyone getting that much power from an L15… and more to the point, why bother when a K24 would make that so much easier haha. But still, you’re right Honda make great strong engines
i can see your smile over here in the uk! a bit off topic but theres a ford transit in glasgow with a 2.5 supercharged engine makes some noise i dont know if hes still owns it though keep up the good work
@@KiwiCarLife I thought I recognised the supercharged Integra Type R you reviewed. Not by any chance based in the Hawke's Bay? Quite rapid, but terrifying in the wet for a novice like me.
From experience I can say if you do it yourself you’ll virtually halve the cost but you’re right, $20k is typical, especially by the time you’ve spent acquiring the right components/assembly/tuning it adds up quickly
Last year I saw one for 6k € in my country.. but problem with these is that you cant trust any build, its not factroy, who knows has the builder made everythig right..
Yeah that’s true, this one seems to be done pretty proper. It’s just too loud imo. Not too long ago you could get one for sub 10k. Now probably 20 odd. Would have cost the owner far more tough
I think it’s just really light and stiff. Setup works on track but on the road with no power steering all the bumps translate into chassis and steering wheel movement
I totally disagree that a Honda needs to be this loud to make that power, unfortunately a lot of Honda owners feel that is the only way which boils my blood as i love Honda's & it really puts me off owning one again. I see why they get a bad rep.
@@KiwiCarLife So fun story... there is an owner from Phillipines that owns at least an LFA, Senna and 488 in New Zealand. I didn't get to watch the whole video, too much work tonight, is the car certed and road legal, that would of been a great opening, also most of the videos start 5 seconds in due to how pcs and phones start playing before anything comes out audio wise... I like your Honda content, but I find rather have short videos over longer ones... You are doing well, good selection of cars you are reviewing...
This is the kind of civic you hear blasting down a main road at 2am while you're in bed
Oh yeah man it’s deafening
I’m a Subaru guy at heart, and people will bash Civics all day long, but man are they awesome to drive!
Yeah man super fun
So loud it mad the audio sound quiet 😂
HAHAHA
I see a Honda, I instantly like , I watch video
Haha yessss
please do longer videos man even if you're just talking about the car for a few minutes longer it would be great!
Please please 🙏

Sign of a good tuner is how they treat the intake; leave the pod exposed to suck in hot air or enclose it in a proper cold air box.
True I was a bit confused as to why there were no filters on the ITB’s. And you are definitely in an NA engine you want cold air. Still went pretty good though
Find a black coupe , put green neon everywhere, and go steal dvd players from trucks
HAHAHA
That sound will literally melt ur ears❤❤
Oh yeah my ears were ringing afterwards
_💥RAW Honda power💪🏼 absolutely love it and what an excellent example🔥.. loud? ..👏🏼😁_
Yeah man! Good fun but stupidly loud
Haha, that is brilliant!, probably my dream hatchback, although I would tone down the noise a bit, I'm getting older now, great vid mate!

Growing up I was never a honda fan now that im older I find myself liking them more and wouldn't say no to one
Yeah man they are pretty cool
Yes! i miss my K20A Supercharger + Buddy Club exhaust! My friend siting at home, can heard the my car cool start 300 meter away! HAHA!
Goodness me haha that’s insane. Must be a rocket
KCL never misses 💯 My dc5 integra drives phenomenal and sounds just as loud 😂
Thanks man! Yeah I imagine so many loud Hondas out there haha
What an awesome build
It’s cool eh!
if you can take Hondas "weakest" engine series (L-series) and take a 1.5L engine and get 500hp you can fo sho get some crazy numbers from a K-series

I'm curious how much it cost the owner. These days, kswaped civics go for 20+. Always wondered if it was an expensive swap

Haha honestly I kinda do too lol
So sick
Yeah man
The smith's - Heaven knows I'm miserable now .
The lead singer looks exactly like you
Oh really
Do the cl9 accords have a lsd, if not did you install one in your cl9
They don’t and nah I didn’t in mine
The K20 makes a massive difference. If only the EG had a type R version
I know! Type R EG would have been cool
needs a few 12" subs and some outdoor speakers
Haha goodness me then it would be loud and awful
Does this car have straight pipes exhaust?
It has two resonators
Seems very unstable thru the corners.. not sure if it had an LSD?
I think it’s just really light and stiff. Setup works on track but on the road with no power steering all the bumps translate into chassis and steering wheel movement
Sounds like a bunch of angry wasps in the engine, and I bet the noise was deafening in person 😂😮

Did they swap the ratios on 4th gear? seems alot closer to 3rd than normal?
Don’t think so, I remember my DC5 having quite a short 3-4. Smaller wheels on this one so that might change the final drive a bit

How similar does it feel to a Dc5 type r?
Very different, much lighter and feels like a tin can. DC5 is a bit more substantial
