    As a doo guy I've gotta say I'm pretty jealous of the gps and rider tracking. That's my favourite feature of the Polaris for this year! Also as a guy without a heated garage, I love your shop setup!

      Check out the Trail Tech Voyager Pro. You can add it to any sled (or anything you want) and it will sync Buddy Tracking with the Polaris 7s' as well as any other Voyager Pro's you're riding with.

      Same; Polaris really did a lot well on the Matryx. It’s a great looking and well laid out machine with an improvement to fit & finish. I would have liked to see the gage laid down a bit and not up so high, but not sure that’s possible with how tight things are under the plastics.

    I think the adjustable foot stirrups are made optional by Polarsis because they are known as "ankle breakers"...not because of big feet not fitting haha. Plenty of people have taken a tumble while there foot was anchored inside. Nice to know they resolved a safety concern

    The Matryx is pretty cool. I took an Assault for a demo last year. It’s tough to beat that new gauge. However, I was concerned about supply issues so I snow checked a 2022 Axys chassis and had it in early October. Polaris FANBOY here but really?! "A lot of research went into the tether switch/location" This is a cop-out bunch of sales crap. it is basic safety gear that should be on every backcountry model! It is finally here and it is a nice magnetic one, this is the location is all they should say. As a leader in a struggling/dying sport, these guys should be providing every safety feature for their riders if for no other reason than it is cheap self-preservation.

    • @Icutmetal

    • @NextLevelRidingClinics
      @NextLevelRidingClinics  2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      This comment couldn’t be further from the truth. Polaris has sold a tether through their accessories catalog for many years with the simple idea that riders wanting or needing a tether should either have their dealer or themselves install it. How many tether fails do you think manufacturers see in a year??? How many of those claims end in injury or worse? Adding a tether to the new sled is also adding liability to a lot of things. It’s location allows riders to use it on their jacket or either wrist which was thought out. It’s also in a spot that is somewhat protected. You say that you are a Polaris Fan, yet you destroy that in one comment. You also watch my channel yet say I’m a “sales guy” when I’ve been a passionate rider for many years just trying to carve a living out of what I do. For what it’s worth dude, with all the negativity that’s already in our world, why add to it? Just be stoked and share that message!!!

    I miss the t-slots in the tunnel for attaching stuff. Do you have to drill holes now to attach storage bags/accessories to the tunnel on the Matryx?
    I was always happy with the Axys headlights and ive heard of guys complaining that the Matryx headlights not putting off as good of light coverage as the Axys headlights.
    Still 7 lbs difference and you didnt mention the fact that the Matryx has shorter tunnel heat exchangers, shorter and narrower tunnel. Those cut back on weight, yet the Matryx is still 7 lbs heavier.
    I do really like that the 7s comes stock with a battery just for the display even when you do not have E-start. That was a pain on my PIDD when I would turn off and start back up my sled without E-start.

      Man guy I have a really hard time seeing this comment. Polaris, not unlike every manufacturer, spends more money and time developing these machines…. for someone to call things junk is just unreal. It’s a bummer you have so much negative energy.
      The A-arms are meant to fail so the bigger more expensive parts stay true. It’s not that they are weak, it’s they are built a specific way to protect the rest of the machine when we hit stuff….and we all hit stuff.
      Hope you have a safe winter!!

    • @bodinsemrau1710
      @bodinsemrau1710 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Polaris has the best A-arms to offer, even considering aftermarket brands. If you actually hit a huge rock and bend the bottom one then all you have to do is replace it and your good to go. The other branded sleds or “stronger” A-arms will be left with bent bulkhead mounts or bent bulkheads. $150 a-arm that you can get anywhere is betger than a totaled snowmobile that drives crooked for ever. You’re missing the point man.
