Sorry to say but there were production sleds before Bombardier sir.
Continue digging let me know when you the two names that predates these guys
@@buckwrabbit9276 well we both agree that the skidoo did predate the Polaris right? In the video during the guided tour, the tour guide sais that they were visiting the place of the invention of the snowmobile which would not be accurate! That’s mostly what I ment.
“Started the sport of snowmobiling” What she meant, around here I’d assume what she meant was trail riding. As about the 1950s is when the sport took off and people started to work with landowners developing trails for people to ride. My dad was part of that era and shares a lot of stories of their trail riding from back then. I’m sure that’s what she meant by her quote. Either way all the sled manufacturers had some sort of piece in it!
Wonder if any part of my sled was in this video 😅
I was surprised more weren't sleeping going on given how I can't buy a sled unless I preorder a half year in advance.
Apparently you have been asleep the last 2 years, times they changed, get some coffee and wake up! Don't blame someone else for you not keeping up, you had your shot the same as everyone else to order in the Spring. The manufacturers have been busting there azzes so don't piss in them for your issues!
And how many years have ALL the manufacturers been doing spring order? If this was a shock it’s probably best you stay away from the rest of us on the mountain anyway. Btw, my local dealer has plenty of sleds, as do plenty of others. No excuses here buddy unless you actually ordered on and won’t be getting it because of supply chain (that sucks). But, you didn’t sooooo.
Are there any microchips in these causing the shortage? Is there a labor shortage? I don't think so. The four companies are intentionally keeping supply low.
@@hansthompson All of those. And ya I’m sure you’re right, companies hate to sell a lot of their product and make good money for themselves and their investors. Sounds to me like you’re just bitter about something. Enough with the excuses on why you can’t afford a sled this year.
That Starchaser looked very interesting ….
Nice 🤘🤘

Factory “dented” They all come just like that. Every model. Just the way it’s made
