Goldmining with Whites Goldmaster 2

A day metal detecting for gold with the Whites Goldmaster 2. I didn`t find anything this day but Dennis found 18 nuggets. This machine is 21 years old and keeps on producing gold for us. Highly sensitive to little pieces of gold.Filmed with Mobius camera.

Very nice! I also have a Whites GoldMaster 2. Me thinks I should be using it again real soon. So far, I have found a few bullets but thats about it. Please post more videos of your using this machine, maybe W/O the headphones so that I can hear your detector? Also any thing you can suggest for a newbie using this? I need all the assistance I can get with this detector. Thanks for the video upload!

Thanks, I will be making more videos . Yes we should of took the headphones off for video purposes but forgot :) . If you have a goldmaster2 you have a great machine. We find ultra small pieces of gold with this these things which keeps you on your game. We have found probably 15 ounces of gold total with these machines over the years and still finding stuff. Advice would be always make sure your ground balanced. First toggle switch to SAT . Pump the coil about 4 inches over the ground to the ground , adjusting your GEB until you hear a very slight raise in tone when reaching ground with coil. You are pretty balanced at this point and ready to search. Get a plastic cup to recover targets, not a spoon, cup works better. must use headphones for little guys (nuggets). Look in old hydraulic pits to detect in or bedrock near rivers .Hope this helps a little bit. Takes time to learn machine.Jerry
