In the wave of the industrial revolution, engines have always been an important core in promoting the rapid progress of industry. After more than a century of continuous progress and innovation, engine technology has reached incredible heights. Whether it is the powerful power sources on the aircraft carrier or the huge engines that push the space rockets out of the earth's gravity, these are already very impressive.
However, what we are going to introduce today is not an ordinary engine, but an epoch-making industrial miracle - the world's largest ship dual-fuel engine. This giant engine was independently developed and manufactured by more than 120 scientists in China. Its size is comparable to a five-story building, its weight reaches an astonishing 2,100 tons, and its power reaches 64,000 kilowatt hours. A modification machine of this size is unique in the world.
Since the birth of this engine, it has not only set multiple global records, but also broken the Guinness World Records, becoming an important milestone in the history of industrial development.
So, what is the purpose of such a huge engine? Compared with traditional ship engines, what are its eye-catching advantages?

China has built the biggest ship engine in the world, a five stories high engine weighing 2100000 kg. These dual-fuel engines can be used for super giant ships with displacement of more than 100000000kg. China has already built this kind of ships using diesel and natural gas in order to reduce the use of diesel fuel only which is environmental friendly. China is at the forefront of the dual-fuel technology as she is already the master of shipbuilding.

Another feather in China's cap. The other day there was mention of marine use of thorium molten salt reactors. Indeed, those 4th generation reactors are on the cusp of happening. China has a 2 megawatt developmental reactor running in the Gansu Desert since late 2022 and expects industrial size reactors before 2030. These reactors are small because they require no containment vessel, operate at ambient pressure and can burn almost all of its fuel vs current uranium pressurized reactors that burn less than 5% of its fuel before refueling is required.
China has the technology depth in innovation and manpower to quickly pursue new ideas into reality and that becomes China's calling card to the world. From infrastructure projects to semiconductors, China will dominate technology as no one else has done before.

Chinese always built great ships and had self sufficient trading fleets of massive ships. They can do anything on a massive scale and massive vision. China is too great and advanced.

The purpose of a huge engine like the one used in a ship is to provide propulsion power to move the vessel through water. Compared to traditional ship engines, these large engines offer several advantages:
    1. Power and Performance: Huge engines can generate significant amounts of power, allowing ships to travel at high speeds and effectively navigate through various water conditions.
    2. Fuel Efficiency: Despite their size, modern ship engines are designed to be more fuel-efficient, leading to cost savings and reduced environmental impact.
    3. Reduced Emissions: Advances in engine technology have enabled these engines to meet strict emissions regulations, resulting in cleaner and more environmentally friendly operations.
    4. Reliability and Longevity: Large engines are built to withstand the harsh marine environment and provide reliable performance over long periods of time, reducing maintenance requirements and downtime.
Overall, the size and power of a huge engine in a ship offer greater efficiency, performance, and reliability compared to traditional engines, making them a preferred choice for modern vessels.

The power is 64 MW, it cannot be expressed in kilowatt-hours (kWh) because this an ENERGY unit not a POWER unit.

The name of the engine is not there. For example MAN, SULZER,B & W,etc. There was another serious technical flaw. The narrator does not seem to be a technical man.

I just hope China does not overreach herself, accept that there are limitations to natural laws.
