The Lynx is the best fishing platform on the market today, I have owned 2 pro anglers and 1 outback and 2 wilderness kayaks and the Lynx beats them all, love it in all typs of water
I have the yakattack bunkster. It’s ok. I don’t know if I’m just not used to it yet but I can never seem to line it up right where it’s straight on the kayak. I’m waiting for the hobie specific yakattack cart to come out. It will have posts that will go into the scuppers and have a kickstand so it will be easy to load up.
Thanks for the feedback on the Lynx, that is very indstructive. Did you consider the Itrek at some point and, if yes, why did you choose the Lynx at the end?
Welcome! I never considered the Itrek. Solely because I don't trust inflatables all that much for a serious fishing rig. I know it can be done but it just doesn't sit well with me.
nice setup. and i love my lynx. i also i like what you did with the blackpack. i to am a minimalist. ive been trying to get it down to just 3 rods instead of 4
Nice vid mate. Love my Lynx. I have a PA but I car top it and it was stopping me going out, all the effort needed. Now with the Lynx it isn’t so. The PA will be missed no doubt.
Yeah it just didn’t fit my style “tournament wise”. I prefer standing 99% of the time and it was hard to do it in that kayak. Getting up and down all day was wearing my knees out 😅 I know people that can fish tournaments in that kayak no problem and they do very well in it. Just comes down to tournament style and personal preference.

I too have a PA14 and a Lynx, like them both , PA is a fishing machine, Lynx is so easy to take anywhere!
Best of both worlds!
Chris, the Hobie Lynx looks like a fishing machine!
I believe it is! There’s so much you can do with this kayak.
Hey Chris what kart do you use?

Thank you! I think I’m gonna try to go down to 3 also but it’s hard leaving a rod when you think you might need it lol.

Thank you! Seems like the general consensus on why people decide to get the lynx haha.
Just curious, why did you say you could not fish tournaments out of the Outback? What were its limitations for you?
Yeah it just didn’t fit my style “tournament wise”.

Chris I’m having issue bring my rudder up when getting to close to shore have you had this issue?
No I haven’t had that issue. Maybe the rope needs to be readjusted? It’s probably stretched out from use?
Just exstend the line about 2 feet and lay it beside you, 3x easier to flip the ruter up and down
Ya I ended up adding new paracord and fix the issue thanks working good now
Hey what kind of shoes are those???
