@@r_se it is not unintuitive but a lit of low average player wouldn't ever consider it because it seems it makes your king vulnerable even though it doesn't.
Amazing. This guy kept his king walking in the centre and still found no threats. The other king kept hiding for the entire game and still fell. Thats amazing understanding of the game.
I work with a guy who is Croatian and one of the first things I asked him was if he was into chess....then I asked if he knew your channel. Sadly he did not hopefully one day he will realize he needs to expand his vast knowledge. But I absolutely love chess and this channel and every time I see a video marked "new" I can not wait to watch it. Thank you for everything you do for the community.
As a queens gambit player, I always feel utter contempt for players who capture the pawn and try to hold on to it.... It just messes up the game in a bad way, and I am glad that Dubov managed to punish this.
Sorry, correct if I'm wrong but in move 18. Instead of moving Nc3 you can actually move Qc3 because if the Bb4 is played you can move the knight to Nd6 to check the king and fork the black queen if the Bishop cuts the Knight then Qc8 will be checkmate. If the King move to f8 just simply cut the Queen in b5 with the knight.
lol the way you described the game at the end, i just imagine a fantasy where carlsen is an injured knight and his squire has to fight the evil knight :3
1400 views and only 164 likes?? We need to give Antonio some more thumbs up. He does alot of videos + work for us to watch. Thank u Antonio! I appreciate all your videos! I wanna show appreciation by giving thumbs up, that's why I say this. Have a good weekend everyone!
Dear Agadmator, I'm a dear fan of yours, firstly. Your channel has been an influential segway into chess, and I'm very grateful -- -- I was wondering if maybe you could try to keep up-to-date ratings on relevant Chess Players next to their pictures? I think, as a spectator, it would add some excitement to the match (In that way, even draws between players with a distinct rating difference can be optimally entertaining/gripping); plus it would make it easier for all of us to casually learn more of all the chess players we see on your channel - increasing our vast knowledge. Thanks for you all do:) Regards, A true fan
sorry for late comment, just out of curiosity at 11:44 white to play and win, instead of moving queen , what if knight e5xf7. would that help. there are many options black to play but i think white will win in end. Sorry novice here and I maybe wrong. any suggestions?
Wise pilgrim then you will just go Qd4 and you can’t get the exchange because of Qg4+ and then Qg7 checkmate so you will have to play h5 and then you just get 2 pieces for the rook and the 2 black rooks are stuck

Just curious. You frequently say "sorry about that" and reach under your desk, but there is nothing happening on this end. What is it that you're sorry about when you do that?
6:13 -- Nd2 is better here, but little can match the sheer psychological chutzpah of an opponent castling into a pawnless quadrant of the board. Some days, the red-headed step-child announces that he's going to beat you, and unnerves you enough to do it.
Hey ! First i love the content, i play chess four month ago and i have a question about this game On moove 18 Instead of knight capture on b3 why Kd6 is Not better ? It's check and Forking the king and the queen the knigth sacrifice must be accepting with Bishop capture knight on d6 then Queen capture bishop on d6 prevent Black king to castle and i'ts check mate on the next moove queen e7 protecting by the pawn Sorry for my english i'm french lol
is this a better line and more winning in the position which is in the thumbnail: knight to g6 forking rooks so you lose the exchange and if you take with f7 pawn then queen checkmate on g7?
Only two sips of water. That's the sign of someone in control of his own destiny. I got the first and third 'which moves' at the pauses. I chose Nd4 for the second one.
"Here are a couple of photos of the legend himself"
*shows Giri*
"Nope, sorry."
I can't be the only one who chuckled at this.
Antonio is so unintentionally funny
Wow that was fast. Congratulations, you are an excellent uploader of games that just finished.
You are an excellent commenter of comments that just got released.
I like the beginning... "Without further ado..." Proceeds to further ado for a while. ;)
only 90 seconds of ado :o)
6:14 I don't think I've ever seen someone castle in front of opposing pieces without any pawns in front like that.
Agreed. That was shocking; an Alpha Zero type move. He saw the winning the the whole way through.
its just an unpin lol
plus you double up on the d file. it isn't an unintuitive move.
@@r_se it is not unintuitive but a lit of low average player wouldn't ever consider it because it seems it makes your king vulnerable even though it doesn't.
@Oissev Onos unless if your plan is wrong, then you cry
"Do you maybe want to capture my knight so I can deliver checkmate?" LMAO
I laughed at it after he said it😂
“That might just be his thinking face.” I love this guy.
Luke SkyDubov: What should I do?
Darth Carlsen: Come to the darkside. Castle queenside with no pawns in front.
Dubov is very agressive player, I enjoy his style a lot
Yes I enjoy his games quite a lot. He's not even in his prime yet
Amazing. This guy kept his king walking in the centre and still found no threats. The other king kept hiding for the entire game and still fell. Thats amazing understanding of the game.
We need a Grischuk saga!!!!

Just returned to the golden era of Dubov. As a kid, I used to immensely enjoy these games ,thanks to your presentation, Antonio.
2:15 agadmator's signature move :-)
#my_favourite_chess_blogger
I think Dubov's brave open-queen's side castle is the bravest thing about this game.
I see Dubov went to the Carlsen School of Posing like a Demon
Lol...Agad does it again, Dubov isn't capturing anything on d7, it's just a check!!! Looks like Agad loves capturing pieces with check!!!
I heard that too and had to rewind to make sure I didn't miss something lol.
Same, I was like lmao what was on d7
He captured the initiative!
He captured the moment.
Why do you always apologize for scratching your ankle?
Nightling LOL
It's not formal I guessed
I think he lowers the volume on his speakers so we wouldn't hear the pieces being placed twice or something like that.
@@LeonZganec yeah it was a joke :)
@@newman7151 I just got r/woosh 'd
7:40 "Queen captures on d7 with check"
*You are an excellent Trash Talker*
At that crucial moment giri was looking for opportunities to draw the game 😂
Four moves, scratch, apologise, continue game... Love the consistency.
That was some queenside castle with the white a-e pawns already off the board!
Niki Riga is the real MVP in a lot of these matches
Oh my goodness, Dubov is so cute. I've never seen a picture of him before.
This guys commentaries are EPIC!!
"Congratulations, you have perfectly memorized the thumbnail"
Grischuk and Ivanchuk, their photos are always so amazing
I'm good no water for me 😂 I love this guy 14:19
Agadmator: "Hello everyone and welcome. Today we will take a look at a nice chess game BUT FIIIIIRST LOOOOOK AT THOSE BEAUTIFUL PHOTOS OMGGGGGG"
Finally Grischuk photos and even a new haircut :O
As a queens gambit player, I always feel utter contempt for players who capture the pawn and try to hold on to it.... It just messes up the game in a bad way, and I am glad that Dubov managed to punish this.
I really enjoyed Grischuk's photos. Hahahaha!

Agadmator "So with queen captures on D7 with check" @7:41
Me: What!!!!!
lol the way you described the game at the end, i just imagine a fantasy where carlsen is an injured knight and his squire has to fight the evil knight :3
agadmator is so good even the content not related to chess is great!

12% likes are actually an excellent ratio, considering that many ignore the button, seeing as how it does nothing.

We all enjoy a nice Grischuk game when we get a chance.. as well as the nice photo
Lol when u said " I'm good" 😭😂
Loved it! Thank you!
Thanks for your analysis. Great job!
Aguess the new move in the possition by Giri didn't pay off. That f6 pawn really did some work.
14:06. Yes, Agad. You are good. Very good.
Without further ado...here are some nice photos!

i actually love Agad
at 11:45 why not kc5 with a fork ?
Wise pilgrim then you will just go Qd4 and you can’t get the exchange because of Qg4+ and then Qg7 checkmate so you will have to play h5 and then you just get 2 pieces for the rook and the 2 black rooks are stuck
Also interested in this.
Mr. Mr. black can play Rh7 and then after Qg5+, go kh8 but that’s just delaying the inevitable and no one would play this out
I have a small question - at 13:37 isn't bishop bxd2 a strong move? If rook takes black queen, you can take white's queen with the bishop?
Why in 6:32 a check Ba3+ is not good? What do you think.?
At 6:14 why didn't black go knight c6?
11:29 why doesn't the same fork Nd5 work here?
Wait , knight to c5 is a fork on the queen and rook.
Right.
congratulations to GM huschenbeth for qualifying for the European cup.
@ 11:39 what did I miss with the same Knight fork you were talking about for black Nc5, forking Rook and Queen?
Queen d4, Nd3, Qg4 check, Kh7, Qg7 mate
Giri's thinking face. Excellent.
6:03 you could capture with the queen and after Bb4 Nd6+. Black cant capture back with bishop because of Qc8 mate.
7:42 he captured an empty square :D
11:38 where is the problem with ....Ke6 to c5 threatening queen and bishop?
Agadmator: “I’m good.”
11:43 Why didnt black play knight c5
At 5:05 why not Nd6 forcing Bxd6,Qxd6?

How is the new couch working out? Is the puppy good with it?
i think the sides are too high..cant see doggy anymore...
Beautiful game, thank you
Just curious. You frequently say "sorry about that" and reach under your desk, but there is nothing happening on this end. What is it that you're sorry about when you do that?
Final puzzle: Rd8 threatening checkmate on f8, so black takes ..Rxd8 and Rxd8 by white would be mate in 2 wouldn't it? Please correct me if I'm wrong
Minute 6:00
Queen xc3+ trap, bisop b4
Knight d6+, if bisop xd6
...Qc8 cm
6:13 -- Nd2 is better here, but little can match the sheer psychological chutzpah of an opponent castling into a pawnless quadrant of the board. Some days, the red-headed step-child announces that he's going to beat you, and unnerves you enough to do it.
Do anyone know who is mesgen amanov?

I've been trying to find Dubov's picture but I can't find it anywhere.
At 11:05 why can’t you play Qc7 after Nc5?
White's rook without protection
great photos !!!
"Carlsen" in title = +2000 views
Very nice picture of Dubov and Giri😂
is this a better line and more winning in the position which is in the thumbnail: knight to g6 forking rooks so you lose the exchange and if you take with f7 pawn then queen checkmate on g7?
queen side castle?!!! IM NOT IN DANGER GIRI, I AM THE DANGER
2:36 he can play e5 to capture the knight. Does black blunder a peace?
What is his FIDE rating in chess
Only two sips of water. That's the sign of someone in control of his own destiny. I got the first and third 'which moves' at the pauses. I chose Nd4 for the second one.
At 3:16 what if White plays Nxg5? Then hxg5 Bxg5, then won't Black still lose the Knight on f6?
Hey where should I learn some strategies for chess?
At 7:40, what did the queen capture on d7??
An invisible pawn joker.
What a cool game, love agadmator
Putting Carlsen as many times as possible in your title. You're gonna get them views Agadmator!
Guys pardon my chess noobness but in the game, did Danul castle after moving his king? Isnt that illegal?
anyone noticed Garry kasparov is spelled wrong?
Yep, Agad should spend more time on his videos.
#suggestion Nepo vs Aronian 1-0
Brilliant endgame
7:40 I didn’t know you could capture absolutely nothing! Ahaha I’m only joking i love your content
11:40 What if black plays Nc5?
my question too
Same edit: should have watched further, the fork is a too slow as queen c4 is devastating, you don't have time to take the rook
1:40 first I thought that it is Ben Finegold 😂😂😂😂😂
Why not 19...Kc6?
I love Grischuk! Didn't he beat carlsen? He's one of my favorites, with Capablanca
Excellently sipped water makes the game go down
Why is it still called queen gambit declined, even though the gambit was accepted?
He castled on a side that has no pawns. Thats some giant balls move
"A nice checkmate on f8" that's Mc Agadmator for you
Sir please make videos on tcec season 15 superfinal
