The IWC is fantastic! I have been wearing it for almost a year now and never needed to adjust the bracelet. A great watch! ❤
What are the circles on the bezel? What purpose? Why aren’t they screws? Seems strange
@ they are screws sunk it to hold the bezel in place.
Which dial do you have?
@@OneManReviews the black one. Liked the green/blue dial and the new blue one, but always preferred as a daily the black dial. 👍👍
People they complain as is too expensive. What is your opinion regarding the quality and price of the watch?
if money is no object i would go for JLC for its timeless classic design. the rest is fabulous but that JLC to me is more than fabulous.
Yes. The JLC is the ultimate classic watch.
The JLC Ultra Thin Moon now comes in 36mm
FWIW, I’ve owned one JLC, the MC chrono calendar in RG, and absolutely hated it. Illegible, jumping minute hand, and uncomfortable. Couldn’t wait to get rid of it even with the 11k throat punch I took on the trade in value.
100% agreed
Glasutte for me. Love the 70s design and green dial
What a sublime set of watches, perfectly and simply reviewed. Merci
Thanks so much!
Loved seeing you get hands on with the JLC Master Control Ultra Thin Moonphase. That and the grey polaris are my two favorite JLCs. Would love to see a review of the grey polaris!
Thanks. I reviewed a blue dial Polaris. Great watch.
Awesome video. Thanks for sharing. Obsessed with watches right now.
Thank you! Appreciate the feedback.
Thanks for the review, love the watches presented here even if i can't afford them. Hopefully I can get my hands on the Chopard one day though.
Thanks. The Chopard is great.
This IWC is awesome, especially in green.
Agree.
That was the best video I've seen in thousands of hours of watch reviews. You have excellent style, taste and knowledge. That video gets a perfect score. I must admit none of those were on my to buy list until your video. I settled down in my mind that a classic Seamaster in blue would be my ideal but your nttd changed my thoughts. Oh and the Alpine eagle - 🤤🤤. I had all but dismissed Panerai until your video too.
I had the JLC Ultra Thin Moon 39 and I totally agree: one of the most beautiful watches! But also, as you mentioned, it wears quite big so I had to let it go from my 16.5 cm wrist.
Now there is it 37 cm version (promoted as the female version). That might do it finally!
Great list! Love the JLC and the IWC
Thank you 🙏🏻
I like the Glashutte!
Great watch.
Happy New Year 🎉 Buddy, All the best in 2025! Cheers 🍻
Thank you my friend. Happy New Year to you too!
Love the iwc and the jlc is nice as well
Both are great watches.
The IWC Ingenieur is waaay overpriced. For about $10K less you can get the B&M Rivera, which is essentially, the same watch in many ways as the Ingenieur. For example, both B&M and IWC are both under the Richemont Group, both us the a movement based on the same ETA movement (I forgot which ETA),and both have similar designs/looks based on Gerald Genta.
Look and see what the Timeteller has to say about both pieces for more details.
Always some self important watch nerd talking this sort of nonsense to make themselves feel better. Laughable.
The time teller has one of the worst watch channels on youtube. I wouldn't cite him as a source for anything. One glance at the preowned market prices is enough to see that the IWC in question is fairly priced at retail. If you don't like or appreciate it, don't buy it. Buy the Baume & Mercier instead.
@kresimirpleic exactly!! Well said!!!
@@dr.kevinmoore8889 seems like you're the one who is LAUGHABLE and a SNOB to say the least, ya think? All I did was share an opinion and cited a source - doesn't take much to TRIGGER you. LOL. 😅
@@kresimirpleic that's your opinion. I happen to like his commentary and analysis, as does 200+K subscribers - how many subscribers do you have? You too sound much like your watch SNOB friend below. Lol 😄
Think they do the JLC in 36mm now :)
Yeah, they market it as a watch for women.
@ do they really!? How pointlessly divisive in this day and age. Still, it’s likely be the version I went for, so to the exact reasons you specify… it’s just a touch “dinner plate-y”, haha
Great video.
Alpine bracelet is attractive, but finding the right fit like winning the lotto.
Or you just buy one of the 1.5 XL links that work as a half-link adjust.
Nice video
Buy anything on an integrated bracelet, particularly anything expensive, make sure it's "True Love", as you're married to that bracelet for ever!
Pretty much.
Grand seiko n.1
It's a very good watch indeed.
Ever since the terrible Cubitus launch, in London there's a feeling that the integrated watch concept has been permanently damaged. People who I know have PPNs and APROs are wearing dressier gold watches. Also people are wearing less showy watches all round. Every Rolex dealer now has almost all the PM models available immediately, apart from the platinums. I think the world market is getting more fragmented.
That Panerai is incredible.
It’s like a dressy Panerai, didn’t know that was possible 😅
I like it too :)
Integrated bracelets: NOoooo. Not just ugly but Not necessary.
The glashutte is so thick it’s beyond dumb.
Nice watches, but way beyond my financial possibilities, so not interesting for me.
I refuse to buy a watch without a Tfit on the fly adjustment. For that kind of money they should have a Tfit bracelet
You could just say you only buy tudors
Omega's pretentious, ridiculous, useless, annoying 10 o'clock He escape valve has always been a deal breaker for me. No way.
I think it's part of the SMP charm.
Great Video
