Wow. That is a lot of variety in products. My reason for purchasing the stack cutter is to cut bound material and redo the spines. For instance, I have workbooks of painting instructions but they do not lie flat. Would like to spiral bind them. Have you tried cutting through something like this?
Yes, Pam! That's one of the reasons I bought it... I bought paper that was perfect bound but I thought I was buying loose sheets to make my own notebooks. LOL. So I just cut off the binding. I also cut off my own glue-bound notebooks so the edges are perfect. I showed a bit of this in my First Look video. I have it cued up for you here - th-cam.com/video/abOqxwXRmtQ/w-d-xo.htmlsi=zWYg3sxkLiW-tIdi&t=1396
Hi! The wheel that rotates to hold the papers down was off camera while I was using it in my first look video, so I just verbally described what I was doing. My follow-up video, I demonstrate it on camera (that video is member only though because it's long and I know people just want the info. LOL)
Thank you so much for answering my question from the 1st video. This was helpful.

@ you’re awesome!!!!
I saw this last night. Never dawned on me that it was the same as cutting off the original book binding. Thank you!!
@@pamphillips9428 thank you so much!
I did watch your first video, but I didn’t see you actually using the cinch feature. Maybe I missed it. 🤣
