I'm 70 years old and have had dogs since I was a child.......the one pit bull I had was by far the most wonderful dog that ever lived. I miss you Packy.
To the guy who had her before: if you couldn't of take care of her, just let her go to someone who could. Thank you for getting her ma'am. She looks so so so happy now. Bless you...
I wish that guy would have been reported for neglect and abuse. Perhaps Rosie's new guardian could at least let all the local shelters know that a scumbag he was in not caring for his own dog. So he can never adopt again. He deserves a huge fine and jail time too... But that's less likely... Still hoping for karma though.
Luis Ishmael Pitbulls that’s actually bullshit, originally, yes they were bred to fight, but it doesn’t change the brain chemistry, the breeding made their bodies more muscular in certain areas so they would win illegal dog fights.the breeding did not make them aggressive. They’re only aggressive because of how they were treated as young, either trained to fight/protect, or they were neglected. Also I’ve worked at several animal shelters in four different cities, and all workers and vets agree that pit bulls only act the way they do because of their bringing up. So instead of putting down the breed, let’s start taking a stance against neglecting owners, poor training, and animal abuse.
I'm so glad you stood up for Rosie! That was no way for that baby to be living. You, your Mama, and Daddy, enjoy her. Thank you for taking up for Rosie and giving her a loving, forever home!
We had a similar situation with a friend of a friend, etc who completely neglected and starved a Sheltie for 10 years. Hershey was 13 lbs. Try to imagine a Sheltie with no coat! We had to remove all his infected back teeth. Then we simply fed and loved him for a happy 4 more years.
I can so relate to this story. My neighbors had one of their young Pitties chained to a tree for over 10 months without ever playing with him or unchaining him. He grew very thin. I prayed for the answer. The owner wouldn't give him up. It tore my heart out to watch this. I knew if animal control took him, he would be killed. I would go feed him in the middle of the night. I had no way to take him, so I kept watching over him. A bitter freeze was coming, and I knew puppy wouldn't make it. So I begged my neighbors to let me place him, and they finally agreed! I found a rescue group, got him into foster care in the nick of time! His foster Mom feel madly in love with him, and Bubba became a couch dog, living the dream. PLEASE, if everyone helped an animal put in their path, you can save a life...make the effort! When I look out my kitchen window and see that chain without it's prisoner pup I smile and thank God and all the Angels that helped save him.
Thank you for not giving up. I am in a similar situation with my tenants. I have asked them repeatedly to let me find their dog a loving home since I do advocacy and rescue. After repeated warnings because the dog had no water even in hot weather I called animal control. Sadly the officer did nothing but give them a warning. The excuse the tenants use is that their dog has always been an outside dog and is used to it. A lonely existence on a chain is no life for a dog. I doubt the idiots even have their dog on good flea, tick and heartworm prevention because when I asked what vet they use or the names of the meds she is on the owners couldn't tell me. The tenants have been nothing but trouble but I tolerate them because I care about their poor neglected dog. I refuse to give up on her.
I always loved animals, always wanted a pet. No matter how much i begged, my family couldnt afford a pet. A friend of mine had taken in a stray pibble that neighborhood dogs raped and fought(he didnt fight back). She kept him for about a year and named him Brody, hiding him from the building manager. Finally she got a notice that she would be evicted if she didn't get rid of Brody. She asked me if i could keep him for a few weeks, her neighbor had said she wanted Brody, but wasnt moving out for about a month. So i agreed to care for while meanwhile. Thing is she never came back for him. So here i was stuck w a dog i didnt want, mostly because of responsibility, but i knew he would probably be put down at the pound, so i kept him. He loved me so much, i could only compare his love to that of a mothers. Every move he made was to try to make me happy. It was perfect timing too, because i qas going through a rough time w depression. I had him for about 4 years when he suddenly fell ill and i had to finally day goodbye. It broke my heart into a million pieces, it still hurts. Now every time i think of him i remember him as "Brody, the dog i didnt want but desperately needed". Way to go Maddy for deciding to keep Rose. You're so good with her and she's so cute and spoiled. Shame on the previous owner for not looking after Rose properly and I'm glad he left town. Good! Don't come back. Great clip by the way The Dodo.

I swear to god someday when I get the means to do so, I'm going to save an adult pitbull from a shelter. The dodo has more than enough convinced me. I know it isn't the world, but god dang if I can be someone like her, even in just one dog's case, then I'll *gladly* take it. My little 2 yr old doggo would love a sibling anyway haha
I got my pitbull from a shelter. I just went on a few shelters websites and clicked on most days spent in shelter. Her adoption fee was only $20 and they gave me 3 months of free vet visits, since her last owner brought her in with a soft ball sized tumor on her back leg. She’s the sweetest thing in the world and she has every reason not to be. I have always adopted from a shelter and it’s absolutely worth it.
ThePopushi The Dodo has convinced me too to rescue a pit from a shelter. I get closer and closer and pretty soon I am just going to do it...and you should too! That will be two more pitbulls rescued in the world if we do!
To the dog you save it absolutely is the world! I hope you’re able to live out such a wonderful dream because it would mean the absolute world to that pup.
When you find your dog, you'll both know you're meant to be in eachothers lives. When I saw my Daisy for the first time, I knew she was the one & she did too. We had only 12 short years together, but they were the best years of our lives. I hope you find the doggy love of your life very soon. Best of luck to you on your journey. Bully breeds are super sweet & lovable.
This is a beautiful story. Rose belongs with Maddy and her family. You can actually see the happiness in this dogs face when she is around her family. It's a beautiful thing to see. This dog 🐕 is exactly where she belongs.
I adopted my boy from a shelter. He's the same way. He wants to be with me all the time, he loves kids, adults, other dogs... he even liked my cat. He went to get a nail trim and a bath today and the ladies there absolutely love him. They say he is such a lover with them and the other dogs. He's awesome.
Another Foster Failure!! We always say, "We're going to find this dog a new home" but the home is ALWAYS with us! So now, we have six Foster Failures!!!!
I wonder what the previous owner [a$$wipe]'s intentions were w/the dog. I would not be roommates for long w/an abuser like that. Good thing he was ratted out and baby is safe.
Was he? Sounds like he was out of town and they just stole/rescued his dog. Considering the friend/roommate that was also in the same residence the entire time, I'm wondering how the dog got so emaciated. Aside from letting Maddy know about and take the dog, did they do anything to try and care for it while the owner was neglecting it?
@Solkard That's not the point, someone who treats a dog that way and in that condition should not be cared for by someone else as it's HIS responsibility. You're more worried about the dog being "stolen" then the idiot owner getting justice? sad
Yes, because if the dog is "stolen" there's a chance the owner could seek to reclaim her. If he was reported or "ratted out" to the proper officials, then he would have no claim over the dog in the future. Sorry that you feel thinking critically and worrying about the welfare of the dog beyond a three and a half minute video is "sad".
Live is free and given without condition; she doesn't know a thing about the cost of care...Thank goodness you overcame the condition of expense.. Happy life to the both of you...
(2:16) "Oh my God, this dog is, like, trying to worm her way into my heart and into my life." Yep, that's what they do. Dogs are thieves; they steal our hearts and somehow make us all the richer for it.
Top Pay Position I agree. But, irresponsible breeding of pit bulls (and other dogs) for “desirable” traits (like color, size, or excessive aggression for the purpose of creating champion fighters) are one of the major reasons why they flip. It’s the same with certain types of mental illness in humans. It wouldn’t matter if it were raised by Snow White. The same is true for all types of dogs. Little yappy dogs are way more likely to bite someone than pit bulls are. But a chihuahua doesn’t have the physical strength to tear a grown mans throat out. It’s not the Dogs fault. And it’s often not the owners fault either. But both suffer, regardless.
My daughter has one pit bull which is the kindest and friendliest dog around.. She has a 2nd pit bull that will tear your head off if he does not know you. No difference in how they were raised.
This video really gets to me. How anyone can keep a dog in a crate and forget about them, is so beyond me. It is beyond cruel. I love how your Dad brings her up on the couch.
Thank you for fighting for Rose. We should all fight for those who cannot fight for themselves. Sending you, your family and Rose love. I'm not sure why some sadistic haters dislike this video. Nothing negative about the video. She saved a dog who clearly needed a loving home and feeds her healthy food as well as loves her dearly. This is a clear example that there are people out there that just can't be happy.
Dogs SO want to be with humans, and to break that connection is so unfair and wrong. Neglect is even worse. Thanks for seeing this dog as worthy and needing help and taking action. So happy for you all !! Congrats Rose !
You rock!! My rescue pitty is the most loving and beautiful thing that has ever happened to us! My beagle and him have to sleep touching eachother. It's so sweet. 5 years and going strong! I can't wait to rescue more pittys
It's all about the owner I believe. A dog, the most lovable creature on earth, cannot be 'agressive' for no reason. And pitbulls are dope. Real dope. I love them. ♥️
Oh my goodness, GOD Bless you for taking charge and rescuing this gorgeous animal. I hope you are both blessed with many days of love, tail wags, endless kisses, and memories.
I love this story. I am so happy for Rose. I am also glad you and your parents were loving pushovers. May the Rose family live a long happy and healthy life
It's hard, the day they aren't able to be in your life anymore.....To have loved and lost a pittie, is to know what true love is, and has been blessed and better for it. Thank you to all who have given these sweet hearts a chance!
Thank you for saving, rescuing and adopting Rose. You’re such an angel. We need people like you to save and rescued those poor defenceless creature in the hands of heartless, evil humans.
I had that rule with my 80lb retriever/black lab mix. He knew the furniture rule and thought he was pretty sneaky. I would open the door coming into the house and would hear the kerr-plunck of him hitting the floor from the couch. Of course the couch was still warm, and I sort of admired the fact that he didn't want to get caught.
LOL,...yeah,...that'll work. For maybe 15 minutes. Right? Amazing how those animals worm and trick their way into your heart. And onto the sofa, your bed and your favorite chair. Tricky devils.
Thank you for standing up and being a voice for Rose. Those eyes are lit up with life and love now. I'm glad she adopted you, as she could not have found a better owner. 💜
That Smile at 3:17 was the best. Dogs has so much personality and is really some gentle amazing creatures. If you have owned a dog you can’t imagine a life without a four legged friend. They can make your heart melt one day, drive you crazy the next and they will always be your loyal best friend.
As all the other guys and gals said … How can anyone be like that ? Thank you from my heart …You’re the best …I have rescued dogs and a ton of cats as well. They all now have good lives.
I keep coming back to watch this video. Rose is very charismatic. I love watching her zoom around and be a huge lovebug. Lucky lady! Also, good on you for not standing by watching abuse. You made a change, and that's amazing.
Only just seeing this video but SOOOOO pleased there are people like this kind lady and that Rosie now has the loving home that she deserves. Bless this lady for rescuing her. What a lovely dog.
I will never understand how someone could mistreat such a wonderful dog.
I have always lived in apartments so I could only have cats so I loved cats more I hope my cat friends don't find out dogs are my new best love.
Why do they get animals in the first place? Why get them to tie them out in a yard day and night or keep them in a crate? Why?
They do it for there entertainment to see them in pain so they feel better but thats not right thats crule 😨
.. or a cow, a pig, a goat, a chicken, a BABY.

Way to go Maddy for deciding to keep Rose. You're so good with her and she's so cute and spoiled. Shame on the previous owner for not looking after Rose properly and I'm glad he left town. Good! Don't come back. Great clip by the way The Dodo.
Have a pet is the best thing in life. Learn about love with them is an amazing reward.
It's so cute that her parents also fell in love with Rosie. That dog has every human in her life wrapped around her little paw and I love it. Spread the love!
God bless all this angel souls!!!
You make difference between what we are and what we have to be. Thank you for changing this world!
Love and support!

Jessie Thomas no... Even if he doesn't pray for his mistake now, he will pray later... To God. I don't wanna be bad and judge that guy, God wants only peace. And he won't let us suffer, all of us will pray for their bad sides... And will have a reward for their good ones. A place in heaven.
Animals are the only creatures pure and they are our angels on Earth. Respect, love and enjoy every second with them. It's a gift.

If everyone saved but one.... :):) any animal any person WUDNT it all be better than it is. You go for it
When you find your dog, you'll both know you're meant to be in eachothers lives.
Thank you for saving her from that horrible situation and giving her a forever home
I'm so glad she's in so much better hands, have a longlife Rose!
One of the cutest pitties in the world. Thank you for making her life full of 💘
What a truly lovely story. From such a sad beginning to a uplifting ending. You are so lucky to have each other.
Some people can be so cruel...but thank God for the nice ones who care!
Infinite kisses for your puppers from me😍❤😘🐕
Foster Success for the doggies because I bet they all wanted to stay 😂 ☺️
Cheryl Pemberton you will go straight to heaven ❤️
Cheryl Pemberton God bless you
I love how it's called a failure. Like, you have a dog, dude! How in anyway is that a failure?!
Aww this is nice you can start a new life a new family and a new happyness
I'm glad Rose had a second chance in life! Pit bulls are AMAZING creatures! ❤❤❤❤
What a nice young lady to save such a beautiful dog. The guy who treated that dog so bad should have his ass kicked.
You give a part of your life to a dog but the dog gives their entire life to you. Love included..
I like when she said: “shape up or ship out”.
Lol xx💕💕💕
You go girl
Sorry that you feel thinking critically and worrying about the welfare of the dog beyond a three and a half minute video is "sad".
cannedheat300 proaly making some beastiality videos.
@@Solkard Did you not listen to the video,Rose lived in a create with no food or water, so yeah the owner was indeed an Azzwipe for neglecting Rose💯%
Pit bulls are nice and gentle.they are aggressive because of how the owner of them treats them or abuses them
So nice to see a great story as this. Anyone who chains or keeps their pet in cages, they don't need one at first place.
Live is free and given without condition; she doesn't know a thing about the cost of care...Thank goodness you overcame the condition of expense.. Happy life to the both of you...
(2:16) "Oh my God, this dog is, like, trying to worm her way into my heart and into my life."
Yep, that's what they do. Dogs are thieves; they steal our hearts and somehow make us all the richer for it.
Well said ! 😊 👏
Bravo...profound insight.
And. Than they steal our beds hahahahahha! I hsve 3 rescues and only set out to have 1 hahha I love my girls ox
Typical pitbull!
Beautifully said!
She has the most beautiful, expressive, loving eyes💖.
Pitbull's are the sweetest dogs 😍 it all depends on the owner they're not dangerous animals 🙏

When the woman said
"The guy was not even there he just left rose alone"
IT WAS JUST THE SADDEST THING EVER😢😢😆
She sure is a blooming Rose Iam so happy you kept her she is BEAUTIFUL hope you guys doing well and loving each other's company.
What a beautiful dog Rose is! So glad she found someone to love her!
Gorgeous! Well done for rescuing Rose & giving her a forever home 👌🏻😍
Dogs know when they're rescued. Please, rescue a dog.
What a beautiful dog and such loving spirit. Thank you for taking her out of her hell.❤
Poor rose.. :( I'm happy she's better😄💕 I ❤ YOU DODO!!
What a great Momma!!
Thank you, Maddy, for stepping in when this dog needed help. I'm so glad she found you and your dad!!! She is gorgeous.
Pit bulls are the most loving and social dogs. Thanks to your loving heart she has found what true love feels like!!!
It's all about the owner I believe. A dog, the most lovable creature on earth, cannot be 'agressive' for no reason. And pitbulls are dope. Real dope. I love them. ♥️
I've watched this video at least four times; never fails to have my laughing & crying at the same time. Rose is so beautiful and so is her family!
Thank you for rescuing her , thank you.
Oh my goodness, GOD Bless you for taking charge and rescuing this gorgeous animal. I hope you are both blessed with many days of love, tail wags, endless kisses, and memories.
I’m not crying... YOUR CRYING! *tears of joy*
Rosie is sweet and beautiful.
Her eyes are filled with so much love !!!!
Dogs behave like their owners ,if the owners good the dog too is good .
Well eyes are the windows to the soul.
"My parents had a very strict No Dogs On The Furniture Rule." HAD. That's the word...
Well,...it lasted about 10 or 15 minutes. They were pretty strict. LOL. Yeah right.
Florian I haven't sat on my sofa for the last 11 yrs. My PitBull owns my house and that's how it is☺️
I had that rule with my 80lb retriever/black lab mix. He knew the furniture rule and thought he was pretty sneaky. I would open the door coming into the house and would hear the kerr-plunck of him hitting the floor from the couch. Of course the couch was still warm, and I sort of admired the fact that he didn't want to get caught.
Yes, I started out with that rule too... Didn't last long and the sofa belongs to my dog and my cat, who cwtch up on it together.
LOL,...yeah,...that'll work. For maybe 15 minutes. Right? Amazing how those animals worm and trick their way into your heart.
And onto the sofa, your bed and your favorite chair. Tricky devils.
The world is a better place with you (and Rosie) in it.
Pit bulls are beautiful!
Obviously a happy pupper!! So glad you found each other! God bless🙏🤗❤️
I love you dodo Rose is so cute
oreodoggerr she is very cute! Wtf that previous owner is egregious

Thank you for stepping in to help! She seems like a wonderful dog❤️
So much love when we see these stories, God bless all the kind hearts.
Thank you for standing up and being a voice for Rose. Those eyes are lit up with life and love now. I'm glad she adopted you, as she could not have found a better owner. 💜
Mz Lee...So true, and well spoken. 💕
so adorkible i love dogs so much they are here to bless our souls not to be abused..... not to be neglected but to love
It's a miracle; Rose is with her meant-to-be family.
That Smile at 3:17 was the best. Dogs has so much personality and is really some gentle amazing creatures. If you have owned a dog you can’t imagine a life without a four legged friend. They can make your heart melt one day, drive you crazy the next and they will always be your loyal best friend.
I only see a dog who is happy and grateful for rescue. All he wants is love and care. Looks like he has that now.
A rose for Rose!!.....People who rescue dogs get my vote everytime!! I loved that story. Thanks for posting!! 🍃🥀

Made me cry. Made my day and I was having a crappy day. Thanks Dodo. amazing dog.. amazing owner.
As all the other guys and gals said … How can anyone be like that ? Thank you from my heart …You’re the best …I have rescued dogs and a ton of cats as well. They all now have good lives.

Thanks for saving Roses life! You`ve got a true friend now that will never disappoint you. Rose is so wonderful.
Dad and Rose cuddling was the cutest 💗
I keep coming back to watch this video. Rose is very charismatic. I love watching her zoom around and be a huge lovebug. Lucky lady! Also, good on you for not standing by watching abuse. You made a change, and that's amazing.
Only just seeing this video but SOOOOO pleased there are people like this kind lady and that Rosie now has the loving home that she deserves. Bless this lady for rescuing her. What a lovely dog.
Pit bulls need love just like any other breed beautiful dog rose.
I have been following them on Instagram, this is the first time Ive seen their Dodo video. Rosie!!!
