My first floor consists of a laundry room, kitchen, dining area, living room, master br, office and 1/2 bath. I just set it up the Turbo yesterday, to map the house. It started mapping and ran out of power, from 100% after two hours. It went back to the charger and recharged overnight. This morning, I thought it would continue mapping. And while it did explore some new places, it primarily went over the same areas. So, through two complete mapping cycles, it has yet to find my office.
Something I learned about deebot with my n8pro+…. Clean house. Like Christmas guests coming clean. Anything and everything off the floor. This makes mapping easier. Most important step in mapping - turn all power settings as low as they will go. I even take the brushes off. This way the little robot will cruise around for hours and since it’s not using much battery to clean (only powering the vac on low and zero resistance on the brush motors). It will map in a single run if you do these things. The cool options of the vac aren’t accessible until mapping is complete so it’s beneficial to do this in my opinion.
Thank you for your kind reply. Since I last posted, the mapping has been completed and it cruises around the place and does a wonderful job of vacuuming and mopping. Personally, I remove the mopping pads after the cycle is done and run them through the washer and dryer so they’re nice and fluffy and they seem to work quite well.
“It won’t go on carpet when mopping” So if you have carpet and hardfloor, and you want to mop the hardfloor. It will never go onto the carpet? Unless you manually remove the mops?
so the robot doesn't have the water inside itself !! This defeats the mopping function! The robot will always be interrupted to go back to base to clean and wet its mopping pad and back to cleaning again !! Well a useless model line!
What a time to be alive

@@jouan1 so can I mop and vacuum at the same time?
One of the best reviews I have seen. Good stuff.
Appreciate that
Who would have thought 20 years ago that we would need a phone to call our vacuum cleaner? Peace
if you would have told me 20 years ago that my toothbrush would get software updated I would laugh in your face :D

I mean...would you want your carpets wet?
@@RedskullPro the point is other competing models are able to simply lift their mops when they enter a carpet area, so no need to remove them.
Very nice and professional presentation
Thanks a lot
Can it do vacuuming and mopping together
Yes
@@RedskullPro at the same time
nevermind the vacuum, whats the black and red AI death machine on the desk?
Haha, that’s a bluetooth speaker called Gravastar Mars: www.gravastar.com/products/mars-pro
How many floor maps stores the X1 Turbo?
Good question… I only stored 2 maps… didn’t try more
Did they solve the pads issue (pads did not touch the floor enough)?
I read elsewhere they solved this by changing the pad design. New units come with the updated pads and the new pads can also fit on older units.
What about smartmi A1 ?
Hi, my Yiko always say what sink is full, any idea how drain manually?
Mine never had that problem. Try washing the waste bin really well 🤷♂️
it's time to talk about sjcam with two displays)
I didn’t know that was a thing!
I like your accent
Great!
Thanks for stopping by!

wow
Thanks for watching!

No water tank inside. I actually prefer it this way. There are some models from other brands that have a water tank inside
@@RedskullPro give one drop Clorox or Lysol, just one
@@RedskullProthe turbo has 80 ml tank inside the machine, I would have thought you would know this when you are doing a review
