Tampa is a Tibetan dish, which has a great cultural significance. It's made of Rice and clarified butter.

Sis it's not eaten in a dry form.. its mixed with the butter tea.. and a dumpling is made.. or even eaten as porridge.... we usually fed to a baby.. its healthy.. we sikkimese are found of tsampa... loved ur vedio👍 and loved to hear the name of my home state...

I'm not sure if you know this or not...but there is something very similar thats prepared by the assamese community also...its called "handoh" or "Xandoh guri". They dont add butter or salt to it..but they typically mix it with milk tea to form a porridge type of consistancy and eat it mostly as breakfast.

Tsampa Porridge I had way back in 1988.. When I was with Tibetans.While meeting Dalai Lama.... This version is also interesting..After 20 year's in Germany. This video refreshed my hey day's. 😂
