Yes, with Intel processors you can acheive better results with Adobe products, Yes with Nvidia you have DLSS 3 and better Ray Tracing effects but that´s it. AMD Advantage Edition laptops offers better screens, way better battery life and decent performance. You rock Hubwood!, cheers to Germany :)

I just got an A17 for 1365$. It has a 4060 in it though which does make a major difference to the a17 shown here. After watching this I am gonna buy the A16 advantage for my wife being that its 799$ right now at BB. Thanks for the video
TUF A16 is a killer deal right now.....only ~$750 used on eBay! For costing 83% less than the latest RTX 4090 Razer Blade 16/18 you're still getting 50% the performance and *DOUBLE* the battery life!

Now my 17 inch HP Laptop I used for Fusion 360 is 6 years old with Win 10 and it needs replaced. I had not considered game machine until a friend told me he got one for Fusion and loves it. So I have $1,250 target budget, seems the TUF 17 with a few extras might work. I wanted to ask if a Laptop can be considered for a Home based Data Server as I now i have 3 or 4 1T Hard-drives I need a way to access them all within my home. Can a laptop do that or a smaller i5 Cube computer stuffed in a closet like the old days. Thank You Dennis
FSR work on any card if game support it. Even if not, you can change dlss to fsr now. But from my perspective of using FSR, it only gets like 10-15% boost on quality mode. Other modes just destroying picture - everything is too blurry

Well mine did. Problem is: there is some variation within the screens. Some areas even get different screens sometimes. And even within the same screen type there are variations. I've measured mine with a spyder x pro...

If you are looking for an RTX 3070 laptop, i would reccomend the lenovo legion, since lenovo legion laptops are known for its good thermals and overall build quality, but you will be paying a bit more for a lenovo legion though. In other words, yes the RTX 3070 is better than RX 7600s, but it wouldnt be as better if the tgp of the RTX 3070 is around 100w and not 140w. It also comes down to what you need in a laptop, you need to consider the battery life, performance on doing workloads or multitasking, and other things. In this case, you should get an asus tuf a16 if you want one of the best battery life, good gaming performance, and able to do workloads quite well.

Aside from DLSS, have you tried FSR on the A16 or does it even work?
FSR work on any card if game support it. Even if not, you can change dlss to fsr now.

Sorry don't have the text unit anymore. But the laptop should automatically downclock the ram if it can't handle the 5600 Mhz at 64gb.

They are really quiet. I would recommend capping the fps with RTSS. It's a reliable way. And you can define the exact number of fps you want.
If u had done a separate a16 review it would be better. Though u could wait it out until the top specs version is released

The 140w rtx 4050 does not use more than 90w. Excactly like the RX 7600S actually. They pull pretty much the same amount of watt.
