I realize that this baby is now at least 6 years old, but when I had my son 27 years ago, before we left the hospital we had a bunch of different “classes.” We were taught to burp feed our baby after every 2 oz., not to feed our baby on its back, but rather to cradle our baby at a slant whether breast or bottle fed. This kept them from being flat on their backs which increases the likelihood of an ear infection. And to keep our baby upright, as mentioned in the video, for about a half an hour after a feeding so everything went down well. Back then, I went in to the hospital on Tuesday afternoon, gave birth at 4:49 am, and we were not discharged until Friday afternoon. This is one of the many things I feel is so lacking in healthcare these days. It’s almost like a drive-thru service; have your baby today, go home in 24 hours. Childbirth is probably the most exhausting thing we’ll ever go through in our lives, and babies don’t come with instructions. My mother just had a knee replacement surgery on June 14th; that’s a very invasive surgery and difficult to recover from, but she was discharged 24 hours later! She’d had the other knee replaced about 5 years ago and they kept her in the hospital for 3 nights and she had a relatively easy recovery. This time, she’s still not recovered yet. I had a spinal fusion 9 years ago and I was kept in the hospital for 4 nights. It’s all just very frustrating!

@@priya.k3620 yes my baby don’t do it anymore she was on neosure and soon as I switched formulas she stopped but also she was 1.5 months so idk of timing had anything to do with it

My daughter does this NON stop all night long, took her to doctors and they said she is okay. This drove me insane as I couldn't sleep through her ridiculous 'constipated' grunting sounds even though she wasn't constipated. I couldn't sleep AT ALL. I know its normal to be sleepless with new baby, but a human being cannot live on ZERO sleep, so I put her in a separate room in her own cot. She can grunt all she wants, alone and in her own bedroom...
@@redroselace9545 She has me for hours on end ALL day long, its not like she never gets held. If I dont have more than an hour sleep at a time I am going to become depressed and suicidal. She screams all night long and falls asleep from exhaustion. Tough shit.

And I took him to my doctor. He said he weight increased well for 3weeks. He was 7 pounds. Now he weighs 8. Next week I needed to go to Doctor again to 1 month checkup. So these type of grunts are normal? How’s your baby now? Please let me know. I hope your baby is doing good now.

She doesn’t want to say hi, because she is still asleep, so let her. Sleep is most important for the growing baby

This baby is perfectly alright grunting due to breathing difficulties is associated with nasal flare and it will b in sync with your childs breath
