- In the 4th episode of the Hardcore Minecraft series, I build a very beautiful sugarcane farm. The best part about this farm is that it not only looks amazing, but it automatically harvests sugarcane too! I give a quick rundown of the concept of 'form vs. function'. I also venture into the nether and have a few close calls. The lore of the world is expanding as this portal is trying to corrupt the overworld, but nature isn't going down without a fight!

what are your shader settings? it looks stunning!
Thanks! I haven't messed with the shader settings too much, its mainly default complimentary shaders. I took off the waving objects and made cave lighting a little bit brighter so that its easier to see on video. But color wise, everything is default! Thanks for watching

love what you did with the sugarcane farm. the thing that really gets me is your concept of form over function, most youtubers just create a big nasty automated farm but i’m glad you’re going the other way. and also i’m glad you’re adding life to the world, making it seems like there’s someone who’s does actually love there and tend to that farm, i know that personally i love seeing when a minecraft world just seems to have life and where everything is connected by path and makes it feel like the world is actually used and traversed. keep up the good work brotha congrats on 1k

i love the relaxing form of videos you make and honestly you’ve inspired me to start recording in that style too,instead of all the fast paced do everything in one episode videos. congrats on 1k as well! 🎉 and also i have a suggestion, you should put string on some of the sugar cane so it has varying heights for the sugar cane field, i think it could look better if some are tall and small instead of them all being 3 blocks tall, amazing build tho!
