- As somewhat mentioned in the video, I found out later (by counting rounds fired in slow motion) that my mag dump before the ALG only had 25 rounds in it.
Anyways, this is my review of the Galil Ace 13” 5.56 edition.

After owning a SAM5, a Rifle Dynamics, and multiple ARs, I can happily say this is my favorite rifle that is the perfect mash up of East and West.

CNC Warrior makes quality parts, but the Gen 1 factory stock with the factory cheek piece sets up perfect eye alignment for an optic.
Yeah I like that option too. This works out perfect for me because I’ve got a fused neck, so I can keep my head more upright and it feels much better.
I'm with the OP of the video. A low--mounted MRO (My Aces are also set up with MROs) is almost exactly the same Height-over "stock" as having a Unity FAST mount (i.e. 2.25"). Good Choice, OP, thanks for the video.
@@OFFICIALUNDthanks man! I have actually since switched to an eotech exps2. Simply because I did actually start to identify some parallax issues with the MRO. I had to re-zero it after taking it off and was chasing my zero for a solid 2 hours. (Usually it takes 3-4 groups to zero and optic).

The ace is a beautiful gun, the only thing I'd change on yours would be the kns plastic delete and go with a surplus trigger guard and mag catch, it would look way better

RS Regulate have the the smooth piece for the handguard in stock right now if you want it. I have pretty much the same set up as yours except I made my own trigger guard so I could use a true surplus pistol grip. That ALG trigger bump fires like a dream. Lots of fun. It's a wonderful set up. Especially suppressed with the kns Piston. I went with a factory Galil stock and registered with the amnesty period since I wanted it SBR'd anyways. Might as well save $200.

The NFA laws are so frustrating, I would love a 13 inch 5.56 but no way in hell am I wasting a tax stamp on anything longer than a 11.5
Yeah I took advantage of the tax free stamp. The whole system is ridiculous.

Hey man just bought myself one of these from Dissident. What version of RS Regulate rail is that? Do these accept any other 5.56 AK magazines like the WBP or AK19 magazines from your knowledge? Thanks for the video and inspiration!
It’s the GAR-10M-N and I have no clue on other mags unfortunately. The galil mags have worked great so far

Did you get the 1913 mount tubular stock? Which one did you get from CNC warrior? I am not sure how it mounts to pistols when you do the form 1. Thanks.

Gen 1.5 is closer. No lightening cut in receiver like gen 1. Also. I think they’ve been lying about the numbers. Has to be more than 1000 imported.
Yeah who knows for certain how many there are. I prefer the look without the lightning cut personally. But if that’s the only difference, idk if that’s enough to say gen 1.5.
I just picked up a Gen 1 Galil Ace 556 13.2”. Hasn’t shipped yet, but I’m assuming yours has the twin opposing handguard bolts instead of the single since you went with the rs gar-10 handguard? TIA
Everybody wonders what an AK AR hybrid would look like. I don’t :) but my only wish is for this to take G36 magazines instead. I could have direct mag insertion, a paddle release, bolt releases, 5.56 ammo, and the AK aesthetic

I bought this before any of the recent pistol brace ban was even talked about so they sent it with hinge and brace

When they were first announced, by IWI themselves at Kalash Bash, they said they'd be limited edition. Then they sold so well that they started making more batches after the initial 500.
Is the folding stock on your Galil compliant with the atf's new gun laws?
Yes. I got a stamp during the amnesty period.
How hard was the ALG to install?

@@shootandcruiseI got mine in the brace lingo and they sent me the brace separate. I sbr’d it and put a original Galil stock on it. I also have every gen 1 in existence. Gen 1’s are my favorite.
