Being an introvert myself, I always found it funny that my high school peers would freak out when ever I spoke up or when ever I laughed about something in class. They would always say " I have never heard you speak or laugh before" .
Sounds like myself back when I was in school. One kid even asked another kid directly in my presence, "Can he talk?" (referring to me). To which he replied, "Of course he can talk, everybody can talk!"... Lol

The problem is that some people just don't understand introverts and they often judge them superficially. I consider myself an introvert but if I have the right person in front of me I became really open. People cannot imagine how big is the universe in a mind of an introvert. Give chances to introverts to converse with you, insist also if the situation becomes awkward and you will see that you will not be disappointed.
And animals, I think they'd agree with that! I believe Nietzsche said something along the lines of 'if animals have a devil, it would be in the form of man'. So, introverts, and animals (and probably nature as a whole!).

Jajaj we really do that! We tend to decline making them think we haven't it clear. But in our head we know from the minut one we're not going. It's an akward situation. Sometimes in my head I think...maybe I cannot have it so clear? But 99% of the times I finish really not going because I really feel I prefer to be on my own that day. Sometimes when you finally decide to let yourself go and give it a try! there you finally end up thinkining...what am I doing here? I would be better home alone. Luckily in some situations you end up having a great time but it's not what happens most of the times.
Ugh... no literally thats not what we think or at least not what i think we would just say this person is not for me and just ask for other extrovert to hang out with us especially for me ENTP i dont mind being alone and hanging out with myself probably forget you exist few weeks later
I am an Introvert, though once I feel comfortable in your presence I will talk more and my full personality will show. I usually don't just go up and talk to people. If people come up and talk to me I will be quiet but I will talk back. When you first meet me you might think I'm shy. But in reality I'm just with new people I don't know. If your in my friend group then you know your special to me. And if I come up to you first then your really special to me.
I'm an introvert around people I feel very comfy with (literally only 2 people at my job) and only on Christmas or New Years for like 5 min. I'll kinda sorta scream "Happy (insert holiday here)!!!" a few times and go WOOOO and then it's back to my bed eating chips and coke all day
Expectations: Vs Reality: Too nervous to make friends, people think your snobby and mean, doesn't interact with people because afraid of judgements, actually wants to socialize but is scared of what people would think if they made a mistake
Personally, I think people are attracted to us because we look mysterious but when they get to really know us they realize we really are just normal people 🤷🏻♂️

To me, I like that they're challenging to talk to since they had either soft or avoiding attitude towards talking and idk why but they do speak softly and a lil different to others. Which is a turn on. And also for how they dress, ain't revealing.

why introverts aren't attractive: -being mysterious is usually seen as being weird (in my experience) -being a good listener makes you a good friend (& nothing else) -powerful (others can take advantage of silent people, since they don't talk back/doesn't seem like we got much power) -not annoying (I definitely embarrass myself a lot, but idc/there's more ways to be annoying than saying dumb things) -introspective (having a clear vision of how life should be doesn't mean your life is actually that way/example: I wanna go out more; have a hobby; find a girlfriend; start a family. reality: I sit at home; watch a youtube video; comment what's wrong in the video; watch the next video) -people complain about me staying inside, not having a life, being a loser (they clearly don't think I'm cool/having a party by myself?) -people usually don't want me to be there & invite me mostly out of politeness (if they invite me at all, which is usually not the case) I did like the positive side about all of these that you mentioned, but as an introvert/pessimist/realistic thinker, I know this isn't the case most of the time (or maybe I'm extremely unlucky & I just happen to meet all the wrong people & live at the wrong side of the planet)
We are on the same page dude. People always manipulate me, assume me as a dumb. They would ignore me if i put forward my opinion. They don't want me to even talk with them (if i message someone with whom i have not interacted much , they would just block my number). Don't know why they behave like this, it sometimes breaks me to think that i am of no value for others. However, fortunately i have 3 good friends who understand me and talk with me.
It seems that way to you bro, because you are pessimistic and look at things with a negative twist. I used to be extremely pessimistic (it's still there), but no one likes a downer. This video has a lot of truth to it with the right approach. Just because you are introverted does not mean you are all those things he said. You might be invited more, well received, and appreciated if you kept the pessimism to yourself and try to speak more positively. Yes it sounds cringe but people don't always want to hear how the cup is half empty. I'm a realistic thinker too and that's good, keep it. We need more thinkers like that. But pessimism isn't as helpful with friends. I've found life to be more enjoyable when I make an effort to see the brighter side of life, and accept that theirs a lot of awful things but to not make that my focus. We have the rare ability to make a difference since we easily see the problem. I hope this helps 👍

want to create me own destination without caring what others think of me or about my age. feel intense shyness inside, outward appear grim. hesitation stops me to think one more time before doing things. conscience is my best friend in helping making decisive steps. staying calm is the best option rather than leaving superficial topics.

You'd be surprised how much of a conversation I can have with my friends each just speaking like 3-5 words an hour :') We call it mental chess because we're bouncing thoughts of each other yet though we don't share most of them and elaborately we still end up with the same conclusions in the end.

Yes. One time a teacher walked to me and she asked if I was okay because I was so quiet. I just smiled and said 'It's alright, I'm just not a very talkative person.'

ikr, my teacher thinks im a good listener because i always look people in the eyes when they talk and used me as an example of how to be a good listener infront of the entire class, i had to stand infront of him and listen to what he says, and after he finished, he was like "see this is how to be a good listener, look at the speaker in the eyes while they talk, *my name* could repeat every word i said if he wanted to", and i literally couldn't remember a single thing he said, good thing he didn't tell me to repeat it
The thing about making others feel special...one of my friends told me about it. She told me how happy she was when she could be my friend. She said that "she admired me". I felt embarassed suddenly, and I still get the same embarassment when I think about it, because I'm just a normal person, not a star or something. I had a pretty good academic history and I was also a quizzer. But that doesn't make me special, or atleast I thought so. This friend of mine, she used to tell everyone around her soo proudly about how she's close with me. It made me laugh sometimes. I had no idea why she's so happy about it. She also told me that she thought I looked distant, yet somehow cool before becoming friends with me. I thought she was joking. But after watching this video, I wonder if it was indeed true. I'm now watching more of such videos to know what others think of me. I think it's not really as bad as I think of it 😆

- Why when it's supposedly quiet in your area (no car, people, etc), you can still hear a noise when you focus enough on your hearing ? (not your breathing or anything related to your body) - How do i move my ears ? - Do names actually impact one's behavior ? Easy to talk about when you have someone with who you don't feel conversation-restricted.

The term introvert has been completely misunderstood by social media. What you describe are shy people. Being an introvert means you "charge your batteries" when you are alone, being an extrovert means the opposite. So that basicly means introverts are tierd after a long day of social contact, while extroverts are energetic after such a day.

-being mysterious is usually seen as being weird (in my experience)
-being a good listener makes you a good friend (& nothing else)
-powerful (others can take advantage of silent people, since they don't talk back/doesn't seem like we got much power)
-not annoying (I definitely embarrass myself a lot, but idc/there's more ways to be annoying than saying dumb things)
-introspective (having a clear vision of how life should be doesn't mean your life is actually that way/example: I wanna go out more; have a hobby; find a girlfriend; start a family. reality: I sit at home; watch a youtube video; comment what's wrong in the video; watch the next video)
-people complain about me staying inside, not having a life, being a loser (they clearly don't think I'm cool/having a party by myself?)
-people usually don't want me to be there & invite me mostly out of politeness (if they invite me at all, which is usually not the case)
I did like the positive side about all of these that you mentioned, but as an introvert/pessimist/realistic thinker, I know this isn't the case most of the time (or maybe I'm extremely unlucky & I just happen to meet all the wrong people & live at the wrong side of the planet)

We are on the same page dude. People always manipulate me, assume me as a dumb. They would ignore me if i put forward my opinion. They don't want me to even talk with them (if i message someone with whom i have not interacted much , they would just block my number). Don't know why they behave like this, it sometimes breaks me to think that i am of no value for others.
However, fortunately i have 3 good friends who understand me and talk with me.
It seems that way to you bro, because you are pessimistic and look at things with a negative twist. I used to be extremely pessimistic (it's still there), but no one likes a downer. This video has a lot of truth to it with the right approach. Just because you are introverted does not mean you are all those things he said. You might be invited more, well received, and appreciated if you kept the pessimism to yourself and try to speak more positively. Yes it sounds cringe but people don't always want to hear how the cup is half empty. I'm a realistic thinker too and that's good, keep it. We need more thinkers like that. But pessimism isn't as helpful with friends. I've found life to be more enjoyable when I make an effort to see the brighter side of life, and accept that theirs a lot of awful things but to not make that my focus. We have the rare ability to make a difference since we easily see the problem. I hope this helps 👍

ikr, my teacher thinks im a good listener because i always look people in the eyes when they talk and used me as an example of how to be a good listener infront of the entire class, i had to stand infront of him and listen to what he says, and after he finished, he was like "see this is how to be a good listener, look at the speaker in the eyes while they talk, *my name* could repeat every word i said if he wanted to", and i literally couldn't remember a single thing he said, good thing he didn't tell me to repeat it

The thing about making others feel special...one of my friends told me about it. She told me how happy she was when she could be my friend. She said that "she admired me". I felt embarassed suddenly, and I still get the same embarassment when I think about it, because I'm just a normal person, not a star or something. I had a pretty good academic history and I was also a quizzer. But that doesn't make me special, or atleast I thought so. This friend of mine, she used to tell everyone around her soo proudly about how she's close with me. It made me laugh sometimes. I had no idea why she's so happy about it. She also told me that she thought I looked distant, yet somehow cool before becoming friends with me. I thought she was joking. But after watching this video, I wonder if it was indeed true.
I'm now watching more of such videos to know what others think of me. I think it's not really as bad as I think of it 😆

Being an introvert means you "charge your batteries" when you are alone, being an extrovert means the opposite.

I can relate. This does happens sometimes, but thanks to my family, I've learned that I don't owe anyone anything and if they feel that way about me, it shouldn't affect how I feel about me ❤
