Does this glass trackpad upgrade work with the T590 as well? Just curious since it’s only a generate newer? Client of mine is having issues with the factory one, thinking maybe going the glass route will be a better move for him.
Hmmm I can't say for sure, since I personally don't have a T590. BUT you can try to do some research on the original part number for the T590 and see if it's the same as the factory trackpad on the T580. If it is, then the upgrade should work as well. Random fact: this is what I do to sniff car parts out as well. 🤓
@@ChezDoesStuff Gotcha. Thanks for the quick reply. I'll do some investigating and see. Lenovo is pretty good with things being cross generational. A common upgrade was the T450 trackpad for the T440's as the T440 one was trash.

Hi there! I bought the one shown in the video from Lazada, our local Amazon counterpart. In the past, I've purchased the same part from AliExpress seller DZ World, but they no longer seem to publicly offer this part, unfortunately. You might find some luck messaging AliExpress vendors and asking if they can source the part for you and make a custom listing that you can buy. I won't be surprised if they agree! Cheers

Does the part compatible with P52 (Xeon) ?
I haven't had firsthand experience with the P52, unfortunately. Perhaps someone else could chime in.
