- Homelander has been out for a couple of weeks now, and this character is BROKEN. Now that pros have gotten enough time with him, he has completely shifted the meta of MK1. Just like Peacemaker did lol. GG WP

You explained really badly why this character is op, don’t get me wrong… He is really strong but you focused on the wrong stuff
Projectiles being plus from full screen isn’t a new thing… also all of his dash attacks are highs neutral duck, the only thing he can hit you with that isn’t a high is his 20+ frame mid projectile and you can react to it. His mix is what makes him good his zoning is average at best.
His dash 3 is a mid and converts off of janet so the mixup between that and his highs are kinda nutty

Homelander is boring as hell to watch IMO, Watching him just slowly levitate all around the screen is such a slog, Only cool move ive seen him do, Is that Wave Dash Command Grab thing he does, Idek what its called; But thats literally it..

@jaydenriley3236 I agree man I've been Elder God every season, and on Xbox as well.nefore cross progression. This character and Janet are fucking obnoxious especially considering any retard can mix the fk out of me with this team. His air stance moves hit me like overheads but the game doesn't recognize them as over heads so you can't up block them and punish. This is the worst mk to date.

Honestly don’t see the problem with the mixups here. He’s just about as annoying as Johnny Cage+Khameleon and Peacemaker+Kano. Nothing spectacular. Their mistake was the Kameo system.

Kameo Sector anytime his goes in the air uppercut teleport.
The air diabolical dash 1 is a glitch cause you acting cancel with any normal and you can barely kounter poke as your more likely to get kointered by their down 1

He looks mid, if anything that makes him broken, aside from camera issues, is just an ambiguous mix or unblockable set up with an assist with relatively low damage for it, then it's incredibly tame compared to what characters get away with in other modern fighting games

I guess its just me but i think we need more characters like homelander. Fun mixups that are extremely enjoyable to play. He is such a guilty pleasure character and if you never really tried him you should to get the extent of how he actually plays. Hes not overpowered. Im demi god rank and people do pretty well and beat me against my homelander while people in casual will just give up when i pick him. I think people are just crybabys because other characters can get the same kameo mix ups being explained in the vid. Lastly, the camera issues never happen… be real yall its a bug that you only see in that twitter clip because its damn near rare. Johnny is still way better than HL and Peacemaker was much more broke on release.
The fk with a guest character ruining the game. WBD/NRS already did that since the get-go by introducing a bland mode called Invasions and a lame kameo system. They could have given us a Konquest Mode or The Krypt. Also, a tag mode like MK9 instead of this trash kameo system that we got.

They just don’t know how to add these injustice type characters to a MK game and they need to stop trying horror characters fine they fit the flow of the game but peacemaker, homelander and heck even Omni man should’ve never made their way into a mk game save those mfs for injustice 3 if they were in injustice I don’t think any of those characters would be op at all they would be standard characters and even before the nerfs but how they are now they just can’t balance these characters for a mk game and need to stop trying
I'm at God atm and any Homelander I see, I leave. He's soo broken its not even funny. They just need to buff the rest of the cast, and the kameos. It shouldnt be too hard to switch some frames around. He def should be banned at EVO, with the glitches ect. It's hard to keep going in this game, when me and you care about MK more than Boon/Nrs.

@@jordanramos9627 I clearly said fix the glitches. His mechanics aren't broken. The only broken mechanic is the fact you can down 1 out of his air dash attack that is supposed to be punishable. But to be honest there's been way worse bugs they have not rushed to fix. If its that big of a deal just take him out of Evo. And i said he looked broken when sonic played him but that's because he makes all characters look broken when he plays them. I didn't just say stuff without reason I can guarantee that.

Yeah the mash d1 needs fixing but im also not sure if its intended that homelander doesnt spend a bar when he starts a combo with flight and then goes into flight again. Both huge things that need addressing. Also isnt the infinite still there except its anywhere mid screen now? Can just loop flight 4 dash 4. Between his mix and all the bugs (coming from homelander player) hes one of the most difficult characters to fight right now. Full screen command grab that launches with kameo and can easily be mixed with full screen mid and kameo is just the cherry on top. In this state the character just has so many options- GOOD options that its almost impossible to react to any of them. But aside from the bugs ig thats just my opinion

He's not very powerful. I'd argue he's one of the worst down with Havik, Scorpion, Nitara, and Subzero

Homelander sucks. He sucks more than anyone. He's literally ruining the game. Everytime I have to go against him it's like, "Oof.... this is gonna suck" and it always does. I'm Ashrah and there's nothing I can so against his lasers. I think I'm officially converting to Street Fighter.

That was intentionally expected, since it was titled MK vs DC, so you expect the roster to have super hero characters. This is labeled MK 1 and supposedly you would expect MK only characters and some guest ones and my point was NRS are using too many superman type characters. At least with MKX they used horror ones like Jason and Alien.
