The reason the exhaust brakes on the C2s are so strong is because they have the pre selected downshift enabled by Allison, but if you were to drive a international with one they have that feature disabled so it doesn’t downshift as aggressive
If people aren't actively getting on and off, it's easier with the lights off so there's no glare on the windshield, and also offers more privacy to the riders. Otherwise it's like a moving shop-window full of people. The coaches have reading lights, but nowadays with phones, passengers rarely use them
When we get one I'll drive it; I haven't heard anything about when that might be. We got several brand-new CE's about 2 years ago, since then we've been getting used buses
No, although a local company we recently acquired does have some. I don't have any reason to get out there and use one other than the experience of it and/or making a video, so I don't know when it would ever happen. (That location is not managed by our same location manager)

Sucks it has no CCM unit hope it gets installed soon. Seems like a good bus to drive.
Very good video
Former SCESC bus.
nice video!🚍🚌
Nice!!
Good to see you over here my man, love your channel
@ Thank you!!
I think you were using it around 11:58, that kinda sounds like the VGT on the 2022 I drive.
Nope, that wasn't it! Later in the video
Does this bus have multiple stages of engine brake? Because on @15:00 when you were stopping at the traffic light the engine brake was much stronger.
I don't think the exhaust brake has multiple stages; I only activated it that one time. IMO it's too aggressive for most situations
@@yitznewton oh okay. I was initially going to ask if you only turned it on that one time. Thanks for responding.
nice we dont have c2s in our fleet but ces instead and no crossing arms.

Flipped the switch at 14:51 and it was in action at 15:04 to 15:15.
There ya go
Hi
Do you know if lakeland is hiring mechanics?
Not that I know of
Did yall get any C2s with air brakes?
Also, I don't find the Exhaust brake to be so strong on my C2, it is a 2022 so that may be it.
