I have one and first thing I noticed is that it hurts the webbing between my thumb and index finger. I haven't seen any other review mention that. It almost feels like it blows back burned powder and it's landing on that webbing. I've had 2 other people shoot it without telling them anything and each one said it hurt them in the exact spot. I'm assuming its a manufacture defect as no one else is mention this. We'll see what Beretta says when I ship it to them.
I carry the 92x full size in a Phlstr enigma. It is very comfortable, more comfortable than my G19 in a regular belt clip style holster and conceals just as well. Obviously the G19 with the enigma would be MORE comfortable but I really just like the 92 and double action guns. Even though I'm happy with the 92x for a full size metal handgun, I can't help but want a smaller version for really hot summer days. The 80x reimagined as a lock breech 9mm would be my IDEAL carry gun. I think I would completely switch over to it from the 92 at that point. Even though it's not currently my ideal, I'm still really considering picking one up anyway and using those Xtreme defense monolithic copper bullets to gain back some ballistic performance lost by the 380.
What’s up my friend? Hey I am new to your channel. 1st time being here. I actually fell in love 😻 with the Beretta 80x Cheetah so much that I purchased the damn gun last week Friday and I am waiting for it to get here. Great video and thanks 🙏 for sharing buddy. You got yourself a new supporter here. I would appreciate support if possible.
Why does it matter that the guide rod is metal or plastic ? The guide rod isn't bearing any weight or stress that is why multiple gun makers including Glock use plastic. I don't see the point of optics for a small caliber carry pistol made for short distance either. Is it that bad where your eyes can't dial in the target with a small 380 at less than 7 yards with irons. Why does everyone insist there is something wrong with the de-cocker and try to make some issue where there isn't one?
I don't like plastic guide rods or components with all metal handguns. It also smoothes out the action using a metal guide rod. Yes, it's a very small return, but the cost of switching them out is worth it in my opinion. For gun manufacturers, it's a cost savings measure to use plastic. Glock isn't exactly the pinnacle of quality gun manufacturing. There are plenty of other opinions on the topic if you do a simple Google search. The optics vs irons debate isn't really that interesting to me. If you don't want to run a dot on it, then don't and just use the irons. When the 80X first came out, there were a lot of reviews stating it could be carried cocked and locked. I know TFB TV said this and I believe Honest Outlaw did too.
It doesn't matter that the guide rod is plastic and I don't put optics on pistols either. To each his or her own, but a lot of people in the gun community like to add gadgets just to do it. I do like a rail for a light or a small light of some sort, but an offhand light has worked for decades and still does. Optics, lights, lasers, obsession with mag capacity. It's all largely marketing to people who simply like buying guns and accessories. Trends come, go and repeat based on what the market pushes as "must have" I am always sceptical of guys who dress in battle gear to shoot paper and review a gun also, but that's just me.
Bipartisan rejection of Senator Paul’s amendment for oversight on the Billions going to Ukraine says all you need to know. Also agree the 80x in 9mm would be awesome, but I’d probably have to stop paying income taxes to afford it.
Maybe you ought to stick to gun reviews and leave the international relations to people who understand if we do not support our allies, we will get to fight on our own soil.
Over priced for sure!!!!. I didn’t like mine at all very snappy. There are way better 380 options out there for a lot less money Don't waste your money on one of these Beretta cheetahs
Glad there are several options out there for 380! I think the 80X is a hit or miss...James Reeves loves it, Honest Outlaw hates it. I initially was not going to get one, but I'm too much of a Beretta fan not to.
List your better options, are you talking conceal ability, shoot ability, quality or price. I have this gun and a model 84 and 85 and all are more accurate and easy to shoot than the current micro 380's on the market. As far as price to each their own if you feel it's overpriced don't buy it.
I think the Beretta cheetah 80x is pricy but not overpriced. Thinking .380 is bad, is an outdated and foolish notion. With today's knowledge and bullet quality the .380 option for every day carry is just as good as the 9mm anyday in spite of what the chadbois that shoot gel dummies on youtube tell you. .22 lr is used to kill cows. Extreme penetration underwood ammo, for example, gives you the speed, impact and penetration you need with a .380 making the average speed of bullet about 1280fps. No, you don't need an RPG to kill a grizzly bear, there are plenty videos about how with about 3 shots of 9mm the poor animal dies. People saying .380 is not enough for humans are couch potatoes. I feel almost no recoil with the right ammo and this gun gives me all the accuracy I need. Well placed shots, with an extended 15round magazine +1 in the chamber is all I need for self defense and beretta cheetah 80x is providing that. I can control 9mm but I can't say I feel more comfortable with 9mm than I do with .380 - Hell, the most comfortable bullet is the .22lr All in all, pricy but there are no other .380 that give me all the features I want from the cheetah 80x.

Thanks for commenting! I haven't had that issue. Hope Beretta takes care of it for you.
Honest Outlaw mentioned that too. And me.
Where in the world does one find a holster for this?
They're out there. I like Muddy River Tactical for great quality, but reasonably priced holsters.
@@buildyourarsenal , bought one from them, thanks!
Phlster makes a skeleton holster
urban carry makes good holsters for them. i have one for my cheetah
The large frame model is called the 92 GTS double action single-action trigger same frame mounted decocker.

Well done video… I’ve got one and you covered all the bases. 👍🏻
Thank you! I appreciate the feedback.
Should I trade my H&K P30 9mm for the Cheetah?
I love this gun, but my trigger spring broke after 50 rounds and I lost an optic plate screw. Be sure you put some Loctite on these.

Thanks for commenting. Absolutely right on the bipartisanship and the taxes!
The NEW 2024 MODEL. 92 GTS. is the same operation as the 80x same thing full size Model

Haha...okay, Dick Cheney
The opening to this video is about the dumbest thing I’ve ever seen on TH-cam, and that’s saying something!
@ukflyer11 Welcome to the channel! Anti-War, Anti-State, Pro-Market, Pro-2A. You're gonna love it!
Looks like a glorified bersa 380. They are shooters though.
