be cool to see the ol 50man vn out again, I remember powercruise 1 he went out in the drifting comp in a near stock auto vn ss and won hahaha then came back to no.2 with a manual in it and won it again lol last I saw though was at archy about 6 7 yrs ago he had a ls 180sx, last we saw the ss was about 10 yrs ago at a powercruise qld don't remember which one but it had the flairs and an ls2 in it. was actually attempting to build a replica out of a vp ss shell I had 3 yrs ago but unfortunately lost a job and had to sell it to get by :( wasn't fun after spending 5 months just on the bodywork n paint, but I have a vn to play with, just a skid pig for now but wanna find another shell to turn into a drifter kinda like the 50man one but more fd inspired too, some sort of widebodykit tube front n rear, either ls or barra up front :D p.s thanks for reminding me how old I am hahahaha :(
@@5lcalais1 I'm old enough to remember before Luke was driving the Holford's car, I can remember Tony driving the VN when it was plain grey, I can remember Beau Yates not being sponsored by Toyota, I can remember Alexi Smith drifting before he was Noriyaro, I can remember Cat Coleiro drifting a Commodore hahaha. I could go on (these were just some of my faves), but man, things were cool back in those days. I haven't really kept up with drifting much since it became more mainstream but who could forget Luke's mental reverse entries lol. I think the last time I saw Tony Harrison was at Powercruise maybe 3 or 4 years ago. I don't think he had a car there that particular year (might have had the Sil80) but he was still going around acting silly like always haha.

Only did it 9 months until some ahole wrote my r32 off, I actually used to run at archy around 7 yrs ago now , a yr or 2 before Luke took over, it was a fun track sketchy as then lol when it had no walls 😳 ,use to dump it off the line in 2nd at 7k and bake tyres all the way to turn 1 😂 mad times. It's a lot safer these days, one day I'll get another drifter, contemplating turning my burnout car into one even though I don't really wanna bend it ,might just find a bomb that I don't care about maybe an au 😂
