A child of one of the scientists Joel murdered seeking revenge on him is actually a cool premise and feels like a natural progression for the story. However, if the leaks are anything to go by, then the writers failed at making an engaging plot revolving around the characters we know and love. Instead of developing them further, they chose to have us play as someone we aren't invested in. That's like if in the sequel to Uncharted Nathan dies to a character we know nothing about or don't care for. People can defend the game all they like but they can't deny how terribly crafted this new story is.

In all honesty I don't care about what people who run with the leaks say I am hyped in all honesty, Uncharted 4 got leaked as well and some people got upset over that but look at it now and also if it is a revenge story I don't get why people are upset over Ellie wanting revenge for someone killing her girlfriend, people kept saying "I don't want her sexuality to be the focus" but if it was a guy wanting revenge after someone killed his girlfriend those people really wouldn't say anything, you don't have to like homosexuality but there's nothing wrong with certain characters being homosexual or wanting revenge after there partner was killed, like it's hard to understand why people are so against Ellie wanting revenge because her girlfriend was killed I mean I know it's because it's her sexuality is at the front of the story in a way but still it's no different than a guy killing people because they killed his girlfriend, the only difference is that this is a girl with a girlfriend and I also saw people trashing it over the philosophical idea that Neil stated in this video but philosophical could mean many things like morality,choice and ect. see some people have really gotten caught up with the SJW stuff in a toxic way and it's gone to there head in a toxic way and now some like to claim everything is some SJW thing when the only SJW stuff is well SJW stuff and some anti-sjws have just become sjws BUT some people are simply just upset over out of context leaks because the leaks sometimes turn people the wrong way and people sometimes just run with that unfortunetly but anyway I'm hyped for this game and MK Aftermath and Mafia trilogy and Tony Hawk Pro Skater remake and ect.

The ps5 demo just drop and it’s beast, it’s an a other level, it killed the new Xbox with its graphics, I guess why this is why ps5 was quite because their thing is to big, like imagine gta 6 using that engine.
