    This is really great stuff, thank you for taking the time to put it al together.
    Do you have any issues with the monitor mount getting loose when you swivel it? I’ve given up on the arms because they always loosen when I adjust the screen up or down.

    • @Whiteinrevery
      @Whiteinrevery  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I don't. Mainly because it is placed sideways and not up and down where it could slowly come loose. It would have to fall out to the right which is very difficult because of gravity pulling it down and the hard stop I have on the hotshoe to the right. If the arm was attached to the hotshoe of a camera, than yes it can fall more with constant forward and back motion.

    • @mitchmedmedia5386
      @mitchmedmedia5386 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Whiteinrevery Oh I actually meant where the monitor attaches to the arm, not where the arm attaches to the shoe. That thumbscrew always seems to loosen on me and the monitor gets wonky.

    I have the same setup thanks to you! I have only one question. The Smallrig 2221 base plate which you put around the ronin always slide up and that already in 5 minutes. how did you fix this? because I tighten the screws really hard and that doesn't help. I don't see anyone with this problem and I think that's weird. I'm afraid if I use the ronin longer, it will come off completely

    the best piece of accessorie here is the manfrotto plate. Being able to hot swap between gimbal and handheld without having to rebalance the gimbal is the difference between missing an important shot or not, it's the difference between looking professional or not and ultimately it's the difference between okay-good-ish work for a client and great work

    • @Whiteinrevery

    Great video! Do you ever find your camera freezing when having the lumix plugged into the Ronin-s? It seems to happen when I’m switching between shooting and playback.

    • @Whiteinrevery
      @Whiteinrevery  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      for some reason, when we plug in the cable from the GH5 or S1 into the ronin WHILE plugging an HDMI out to the monitor, the camera screen goes black and only displays on the monitor. Both ronin and cameras have been updated and still there is this issue which is why we don't plug our camera into the ronin.

    Hi! Love your video. I have a Ronin RS2 - will the smallrig rod clamp work with that gimbal, or is there another type of clamp I need to purchase?

    • @Whiteinrevery
      @Whiteinrevery  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The Ronin RS2 comes with Nato mounts attached to the handle in the middle so you don't need a clamp that goes around the gimbal like here on the Ronin S. Just get Nato mount handles or extension arms and you should be set.

      @@Whiteinrevery Sorry one other question - as I understand it, if you unscrew the base tripod legs, the Ronin S has 2 different size screw mounts to allow you mount the gimbal onto a monopod. The RS2 only has 1 small thread hole that doesn't fit the bolt size of any of my monopods. Is there an adapter for this that will allow me to mount the RS2 onto a monopod? TIA!!!

    • @Whiteinrevery
      @Whiteinrevery  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      might not work as it needs the side mount on the screen and has to clear the ronin arm. might not work. but I don't have that monitor to fully test that out.

    • @Whiteinrevery
      @Whiteinrevery  2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Hi white in Revery... thx for that perfect tips... today I receive my plate and 2 handhelds from smallrig and directly try out... but I have problems with using it together with the ronin s... the Ronin can’t turn around 360 because it contact the screw from the handhelds... u have an idea to fix that problem? Thx a lot...

    • @Whiteinrevery
      @Whiteinrevery  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      yeah thats what I mentioned in the video that it hits the arm but I prefer that to keep the cable from being pulled too far or disconnected. Going with the DJI handles would be the better alternative if you wanted to utilize the 360 roll feature.
