Selena has patents in place for her lines. This has obviously been in the works for a while, way before Hailey put her stuff out. Selena is always ahead she's a Forerunner! Plus she does extensive testing and incorporates her bottles to do other specific things to help users make them easier to use.
Every celebrity that comes out with makeup usually also dips into body care and or perfume as well. It never just stays makeup.

Actually it’s 100% big enough. Some choose not to have pop ups, brick and mortar or want to sell in a corporate store. E-commerce brands are great and there’s huge hype around Rhode. I love both brands. You don’t have to pick a side. Also who’s to say Rhode isn’t expanding their products to have a larger selection for stores? They only do skincare and they’ve been very smart how they release each product.

I think they are so different though? I get both brands have the minimalistic aesthetic, but Rare Beauty is more pink, purple; while Rhode is more white and grey.

Same I agree with you on some parts. I don’t quite understand how she says nothing to her people to start fights cause that’s just the people then?? Honestly this could be a whole conversation but she does have influence and she’s not the only one. Hypocrisy runs rampant today as well, and that’s another thing the way we watch celebrities and hold them to a different standard- they are not God and never will be. If Hayley had her influence she would definitely do it too, the Kardashians do it and she did it when she got mean comments in the internet. The other difference is she played victim and blamed the people on the internet so the backlash was worse. Also considering mental illness is involved we forget about it when it’s convenient. There is so much bad behaviour from people and when it suits it will either be mental illness or bad behaviour. In the end no one is perfect, not Hayley, not Selena they are just the poster children for how society as a whole behaves. We don’t like to see our bad sides reflected as we lash out when we start to notice it in them. We expect them to be perfect and not us. They are just us with money. Almost ALL skincare kits from ALL brands look identical, for example, an e.l.f. skincare kit and Kylie skin kit have the exact same design as Florence by mills, Rhode, and Rare Beauty. At this point people are just obsessed, something happened months ago where fans saw extreme similarities between the two, and since then, fans on either side are trying to find any kind of remote likeliness between their posts, brands, and such then they use that to try and downgrade the other side. By the way, Selena is way ahead of everything all the time, I don't get why people miss the part where it is impossible for Selena to look and examine Hailey's products, attempt a design similar to them, create formulas that work, patent them ahead of time, do an atrocious amount of testing, AND advertise all in such a short period of time. Also, why on EARTH would a multi-millionaire celebrity, and by far one of the most influential figures in current times want to copy someone who isn't even close to as successful as she is? Oh, and about the aromatherapy pen, and the lip tint in a jean pocket picture, LOADS of brands use that same advertising strategy, it's just used to show the relative compact design and size of the product, showing that it is portable and easy to use. If they are going to accuse Selena, or Hailey for that matter, they should use their original ideas rather than random similarities, the packaging, advertising, and such have all been used before, so there is no way to prove that Selena copied Hailey, or the other way around.
