Regarding those oddly placed zips - just a fashion feature. I have lost a sense of usefulness in fashion, elements found on odd places. Not a big issue for me. Seeing a zip doesn't mean it is to be used to open or close something. I saw zip elements on handbags, just as a random fashion feature.

Bottom line, many businesses develop products that do not sell all to get the advertising, pull the cash out and get tax write offs. Often will only manufacture a few of them and will use that to say it sold out quickly and not be caught technically lying.
For the Australian market I think these clothes are way overpriced. Besides the pleather items there are heaps of other stores/sites you could get similar for a fraction of the cost.
