Skin “type” is mostly marketing too though. Nothing wrong with buying products targeted toward men especially if it gets them to use them or supports things like men’s mental health or donates to causes for men.
I believe it would have been nice to add some recommendations in terms of men that use electric shavers and irritation after shaving and what to use after.
I’d like to share mine if you dont mind. I wash my face after shaving with cerave foaming cleanser and put on peptide serum from the ordinary then seal off with aveeno calm and restore balm. If i would shave at night i will top it up with good ole vaseline.

I didn’t even know younger that boys/men doesn’t do any skincare. Me myself have atopic dermatitis so i have been using moisturizer like since 5 year old haha. Since i hit 20 i have do ALOT research and upgraded my skincare to the next level now i have basic routine so i don’ have excuses to skip skincare. My current skincare: cleansing balm ONLY since i have atopic i have weak barrier/dryness so just cleanse with oil balm is enough to me and better than foaming/”normal” cleanser so i get dirt/sunscreen of. After that RNW ceramide serum (light & holy grail) then etude 2x barrier cream and that’s it. Simple and very effective as skincare should be! Am ofcourse sunscreen i don’t know does anybody care but i use goodal heartleaf spf. Calming, affordable, matteish. Huge shoutout tho this guy, have helped me alot.
There’s 100% a difference between men’s & women’s skin as men need products that will rub fully in to facial hair (of varying lengths) & not leave an unkempt looking residue. And that… I’m still trying to find

I don’t doubt that the SkinBetter science stuff is good stuff, but you don’t need $135 /30ml product, the cheaper CeraVe, Olay, and Roc products are just a good but that’s my opinion.
What do you think about skinsceuticals triple lipid? I need a moisturizer to put on top of my retinol. I’m more oily during the day, but at night tend to be more dry (especially after retinol). After using Light weight moisturizer, I wake up feeling tighter and kind of dry. So I’m looking for something heavier that won’t break out my skin! Thank you for your help! Would you recommend using the Blemish Control Cleanser in the morning and in the evening? I have acne prone combination skin and I wanna make sure i'm not over exfoliating my skin, as I have started using retinol recently. Yes! Thank you. Men do exist in skin care. It's such an isolating industry. You either have to be gay, or have nerves of steel to participate in this culture. For bros just getting their feet wet, this is WAYYY too much information. 1. Sunscreen 2. Gentle facial cleanser 3. Tretinion. 4. Moisturizer That's it. Cheap is fine! Start there. Do that for 6 months EVERY day and then get all fancy with this litany of advice. There's too much in this video. No way for new people to comprehend all this content.

The Cerave 4% Benzoyl Peroxide wash prevents all my irritations after shaving... I use it like a shave gel.
