Barry I really enjoy watching you I myself am only a 14 year old female but you always make me smile and make cooking and baking seem so much fun and have helped me to enjoy cooking so much x so I just wanted to say thank you 💙
Your enthusiasm is amazing, and the fact that you're doing this series is equally amazing. Cooking doesn't have to be super hard or complicated. It's easy to make something as an easy base, and then try to give it a bit more oomph. It's a good way to not be overwhelmed with cooking.
I can’t stress enough how much I love this series. I’m not good at cooking, and this whole 3 ingredients thing has helped me so much, I’m cooking more than ever and not hating it!
I mean.. if you have mouthwash made with sassafras yeah I’m sure it might taste vaguely like root beer but since most people use wintergreen mouthwash that isn’t a fair comparison.
Barry I'm really freaking out man!! Those are all of my favourite foods, I'm not joking its like you reached into my brain and made my dream video. I'm definitely trying these recipes out this weekend.
Inazuma Jags omg how embarrassing!! Sorry my phone seems to think that when I put that it should put you after as I put it to my partner a lot! 😂 but still love the white chocolate version tho 😂
Fun Fact: The coke float (sp?) in Australia is called a spider, where you put ice cream first and then they pour the coke which would create a foamy layer on top. How to Cook That created a video about coke floats so you should try recreating the coke floats
I mean it when I say this is my favorite series you do, Barry. Always entertaining, always gives me ideas for recipes, and always interesting to see how simple cooking can be.
Hay Barry, i live in South africa and my familie and i love coke floats, just a quick tip to everyone who makes it, put the ice cream in first cause it makes the coke fizz like crazy... Put alot of ice cream in 😉

It's the first time I've ever had a youtuber like and reply to my comment and it turned out to be my favorite one! 🤯 Thanks a lot, Barry! It certainly is a great day now!! 😊
A coke float sounds good, but I can't help but always go for rootbeer instead of coke. It becomes a cream soda by the end. All these foods look delicious, good job and thank you for giving more great ideas.
I think the problem with a cream soda float is that it gets too bre way too sweet by the end and is more one note unless you switch up the ice cream. The rootbeer starts off less sweet and changes, not allowing the tastebuds to get sensitized to the flavors.
made it to the end of my catch up Barrahon :) I've had about a year's worth of videos to catch up on, not sure what my starting point was and that I got them all, but it was great fun :D looking forward to more uploads! thanks for several delightful evenings
Just wanna say Barry, been loving your recent videos, been really good lately(well there always good) they should come with a guaranteed laugh warning😂 keep it up mate!
@@jamiegriffin-smith9931 Nah but there should have been. My girlfriend bought me some cream soda last night as it goes.... Might have to invest in some Cornish
11:05 Coke floats are great. Here in the States they're called black cows. You've got the very dark cola combined with the dairy, hence the moniker. If you want something REALLY intense, swap out the cola for cherry 7-Up. The foam that forms when you pour that soda over the ice cream will blow your mind.
Hi Barry. I just discovered your videos about month ago, but they are very addicting. When I saw your 4, 3, 2, 1 ingredients videos I loved them. That was the first time I had a Barry-thon. I'm glad you can make a living out of having fun cooking at your house. Sounds like a dream to me. Keep up the good work ☺️👍 Say Hi to Mrs. Barry and the kids
Floats are still very loved here in Canada! Usually root beer floats from a&w ! So iconic😍 used to make floats with any pop I could as a kid, and seasonal burger joints always have them as well with different flavours
Hi Barry, I made your 3 ingredients chicken and noodle soup today. I added extra herbs and bit of garlic. Also some leftover carrot bit of potato, tin of tomatoes. At the end, I added a couple of eggs and a bit of grated cheese I needed to use up, and it tastes BOMB! (Needs a little water when reheating but still good stuff 👌)
Floats have a bunch of lovely variations. Coke with vanilla, Lemon Lime soda with orange sherbet, and the most classic of all, Root Beer with vanilla ice cream. The best way to make them is have the soda very cold, have the glass or mug also very cold. Put the ice cream into the mug, at least half full, top with soda! The head is fun to slurp, the cold soda freezes on the ice cream and the whole thing is just yummy!
8:00 When i do my banan pancakes i usually have 2 bananas and 2 eggs, if ur feeling for some extra deliciousness i usually around a tablespoon of cacao and when that is mixed up i serve if with some strawberries or blueberries
Always called them Ice Cream Sodas when I was a kid. As others have said, load large glass up with icecream first then soda (I liked Fanta). Long spoon along with the straw & extra soda to keep topping it up...soooo good & thanks for bringing up some fond memories :)
This has to be my favourite. My family used to pour lemonade on their bowl of ice cream but I never liked it. I like them separately though. I’m definitely trying these recipes.
Already watched, waited with my son to video appear and watched straight away. We did pancackes with little upgrade - added some coconut flour to add some more texture, served with banana, pineapple, golden syroup and peanut butter. He loved it.
I make banana pancakes also! I use one banana and one egg for the ratio. It works better. This changes your number of ingredients, but it also works better if you can add a spoonful of quick-cooking oatmeal or pancake mix (gluten-free pancake mix if necessary). Just a little bit helps it hold together. Keep up the great work!
Coke/soda floats are popular in the states. You can get them at Dairy Queen, Sonic, Burger Box, A&W, Braums (best ones in my opinion) and any diner type places that sell ice cream. Always do ice cream first. Take it from someone who used to work at Braums and made probably 100 a day in Texas during the summer.
In a ice cream place in Edinburgh called Mary’s Milkbar they serve a Ginger or Root Beer Float with a choice of any ice cream they are serving that day. I had a ginger beer and treacle ice cream float, it was the best thing ever!! 🤤
I have coke float in my town and I never seen anywhere else in my country and it's called "Flora Milkshake". But in case they add syrup (I think strawberry) and regular lemon
Hey Mr. B!! I make those Banana Pancakes all the time! I had some issues with them being flimsy as well so I put Peanut Butter in there and only used one to one banana and egg ratio. 😉 They are Keto friendly and a lot less flimsy.
You should do a 3x3x3 ingredient meal. Eg 1. sugar and cream make a caramel sauce, add salt for.salted caramel 2. Flour egg and milk make the pancake batter. Which you can do as a layer cake 3. Double cream vanilla paste and cinnamon for whipped cream frosting Then add all 3 ingredients together to make a layered pancake cake. With caramel sauce between each layer. Covered in the whipped cream So 3 ingredient to.make 3 elements added together to make 1 meal.....if that makes any sense
I have those pancakes every morning for breakfast 😂 to make them extra fluffy, separate the yolks from the whites, whisk the whites to stiff peaks and then fold into the mushed bananas and egg yolks. Adding some cinnamon makes them even better!
In Australia, we call those spiders and they usually have an allen's snake coming out instead of lime. We also put the ice cream in first, it works great with raspberry soft drink too
Thank you for making the egg and banana pankcakes!! My sister swears it isnt possoble but I love those pancakes!! Use some coolwhip on them it's also tasty!!

Love the idea of a 4321 book. Maybe aim it at university students and people who are new to cooking!
It's a good idea, but I'd suggest agreeing that salt, pepper, and water don't count as ingredients. Nobody wants to eat tasteless, unseasoned food.
@Kelly Laliberte he could do a list of possible additions in the opening chapter or appendix. Thereby preserving his 3 ingredients objective.

Our Coke Floats are a bit different. Ditch the lime, fill the glass with ice cream & then pour the coke over it & eat/drink with long spoon & straw.
