Trivia: Nightlife areas in Japan are "naughty area" in general and Hiroshima is no exception. For this reason, they are not for everybody. Especially not for children. Japan is a safe country and you won't be threaten for life or anything at all but still they are considered somewhat "wild areas".

38:29 I tried the dorayaki at that stand to the right when I went there last year, never would I have imagined that red bean paste could be such s delicious treat. Watching this from Norway, it feels like I'm just back there again.

The population of Hiroshima City is 1.2 million, and Hiroshima metropolitan area is 2 million. It's the 8th largest in Japan, about the same as Kansas in the United States.
It appears relatively small because Japan has three metropolitan areas with populations over 10 million: Tokyo(37M), Osaka(19M), and Nagoya(10M).

@@eclipse4995 oh really ?..i think its still relatively low.. as we are more used to seeing the more populated cities of Japan on internet so i was surprised by this one… i too live in a very populated city so i was impressed by what looks like a less populated , peaceful and quiet city to me☺️

I haven't visited Hiroshima in 20 years. It's impressive how much has been invested in development in that time. And the old dude chatting up the maids around the 30 minute mark. 🤣

Lol that dude knows what's up. I've always thought Maid cafes are silly until I've been to one on my Japan trip and it was unironically one of the highlights of my trip.
