- Here is my uncut video of fitting the Hot Toys Batman DX09 into the Jazzinc Batwing.
Since I have not seen a video like this, I thought it could be interesting.
Warning: the cape pleather did fray after doing this and one of the fins of the gloves broke off. If you are thinking of doing this, watch this video first.
Thanks for this. You're right, nobody has shown a video of just how hard it is to get this figure in, and you've convinced me it's not worth the risk. I feel a bit like you took one for the team here. In exchange, my advice is to watch the canopy, mine fell off unexpectedly so just be careful if you mount yours on a steep angle.
Thanks for that! I could have made it easier and removed the boots! But yes I did want to show something a little different here. You could also replace out the cape with a custom shorter cut one.
I never thought I'd see the day where we can use Super accurate 1/6 Hot Toy figures like Ken dolls and put them into Super accurate vehicles. *wipes tear*
Haha it is proud times!
I dunno, feel like this should have gotten the hot toys hulk buster treatment and had a 1/2 a figure sculpted to fit the cockpit.
That is a good idea. Maybe Jazzinc will do that!
I think that Jazzinc should have tested this element before releasing this beast of a vehicle, LOL! Imagine if Batman had this problem getting on the Batwing on the movie...
I have a drape cape on mine.. popped right in.. now getting the arms on controls and having it look realistic is tougher.. but the steering handle that points up does come off so that makes it easier.
Great ideas!
I was cringing the whole time!! Lol. Great job!
But Damn the BatWing is “Bat-tas-tic” After you Got it Together with, That Awesome 89 Keaton Batman Action Figure!!! All that Detail!!! Thank YOU! 🦇🦇🦇🦇
Thanks for the appreciation!
Great video mate...waiting on mine to get here however not sure about leaving that figure with poor articulation in there.
Tried it with the HT batmobile and way to tight, damage for sure.
Yes, I didn't leave it in there! Enjoy yours!
Thats amazing!!!thats a Shame that Batman doesnt fit normaly inside the batwing, maybe its for a smaller size figure!??
Jazzinc did make it for this particular figure, however there are things you can do to help like removing boots, cape, gauntlets and hands. You can then reattach gauntlets and hands when the figure is inside.
Take a Picture one you get Him in, Either leave Him in or Never do this AGAIN!!! But your Efforts are Appreciated!!! 👍✌️🦇🦇🦇🦇
He can do it again if he damn well pleases
When they filmed the movie they used chopped down capes when he got in the Batmobile and Batwing. Most of the Batwing scenes were done with miniatures.
That makes sense. They also gave him shorter ears when in the Batmobile!
Can I ask........... what did Australian Customs charge you in duties and fees to import the Bat Wing?
$270 AUD
nice job video bro .
4:49 It looks like that missing gauntlet spike may have flown towards the left???
Thanks, I actually found it in one of the crevices of the plane!
I hope we get a bust for the cockpit at some point
For all the bigger vehicles that Batman has across the different movies with Batman.
That would be a good idea.
Pull off shoes. Leave feet off. Leave cape off. Tight fit but works.
That's the idea!
thanks for the demo how to put the HT 89 inside - its a tight fit for the figure with cape but possible - jazz inc should have put a little more space in that cockpit tho - i hope you find the spike that came off hope its inside the seat area or landed at batman's cape
Thanks, and yes I did find that spike! When I picked up the Batwing, it fell down onto t ground underneath me. All glued back now!
Une tuerie❤❤❤❤
Hot toys 89 Batman includes extra glove spikes. I don’t remember how many they include
yes it is a set of three but thankfully I did find the missing one!
No way would I put the figure in the cockpit those rubber suits are known for splitting and cracking especially with the stress of posing.
Yeah I wouldn't recommend it!
Are you able to take it out?
Any dmg to the suit?
Yes but the cape started to fray.
size does matter
And detail!
Those dumb rubber suits.
They look realistic but are not very practical!
