Looking beautiful mate. Who’d have thought a circle would be so difficult lol. Bob Ross would have just left it as a happy accident 😂 Glad it turned out ok in the end.
simply stunning John. quick question. ive followed as best I can but after the reefer white it looks cold. do I have to mist it with light grime to warm it up? many thanks in advance
Masterful job replicating the work of ILM's model makers! Really does look spot on (sorry for the pun) compared to the refs. I'm curious if you've considered aquiring a vinyl cutter? I purchased one a few years back and it makes making paint masks infinitely easier. Heck, for the orange spots, could have cut several different sized circles quickly enough to do a comparison prior to picking a size for masking and painting. Anyhoo, always excited to see what you have to share. Shes's really come to life now! Full of character!
@John Simmons Scale Modelling fair! Another option although maybe not the fastest. I've made basic painting stencils for other modelers in the past. If I can help in the future, feel free to give me a shout.
My favorite Star Wars bird.
Hell yeah 😉👍
Absolutely stunning mate. I’ll be asking what colors when I do mine

Superb... thanks for colour call outs was scratching my head at the orange circles
