Together with Matthias I made some pictures in this sandy environment. I was so stoked how well this pattern performs. So I decided to make this quick and dirty video with this demonstation. I did no color grading etc.

Matthias is the inventor of the Concamo pattern. It is available in Concamo Green, Concamo Brown and Concamo Beige. My older videos with the Ghosthood equipment was with gear in Concamo Green Generation 1.
With Ghosthood Matthias made a brand, that offers ultra light camouflage solutions for a lot of different environments. Main customers are military and police units. The Ghosthood products even arrived in Australia and are used world wide.
Don't annoy me with "Bad camouflage, I have seen the guy!" - We made the video so, that you can see the effect of the pattern. This can only be done, when he is more than some pixels. At least in my oppinion. Or try to proof me wrong ...

Very impressive, really blended in well. I've noticed that camouflage patterns from Germany have always been far ahead of those from other areas. Your patterns and design work live up to those standards.
They were not always... And we don't have as effective camo as some other areas...
But Germany is in many sectors far ahead.
Their standard military issued is trash tho

Das Muster siht sehr gut aus.
Ich kann mir sehr gut vorstellen dass das Muster auch im Urbanen, Gebirge und eventuell auch Schnee eine gut Performents hat.
It's impressive! I would like to see it in real nature, not only on the screen.
In real it's often even better. Since you have a wider field of view and the brain needs to process a lot more information ;-)
@@ripperkon is there an optical-transparent material out there that can be used as an IR blocker so that it does not reveal you at night that you could cover your suit with at night?

@@naveedjan4225 the one in the video is in Concamo beige. You can get it at ASMC or Triple Action here in Germany. Or just ask uncle GOOGLE ;)

@@Aussenluft Ja, das ist allerdings wahr.
Ein Tarp ist halt ein ganz neues Material. Und bei der Druckqualität, IR Farben etc. wird da der Preis sicherlich eine interessante Sache. Vermutlich bekommt man dann für den Preis von dem Tarp lockere mehrere "normale" Tarps in grün etc.

This all looks very good and convincing, but selecting the correct terrain to test it out in is obviously a huge factor in that.
Irrelevant. Those who use full-body camouflage also look for appropriate positions. No one with a ghillie would lay down in a urban area, or wearing winter camo in a jungle...

Really impressive. Even under changing light conditions. I would like to see this same pattern compared against Badlands and ATACS AU. I think your pattern might win out still, because the ragged edges lend nice texture. I do worry about that texture though. I’ve worn commercial 3D Hunter camo for testing and it snags on everything when on the move. Have you noticed the ghost hood catching branches when moving through brush?
great camo and very effective if you're not looking for someone but if you know someone is in the area you're going to find them. till now the Gilli suit is still the best but only if you know what you're doing ....yeah im going to be ordering this stuff , till now I've been using Stratta and this stuff seems just as effective or even better
I found this super enjoyable to watch and will be sending it to my mate in the UK as we both enjoy 'trying to find the guy in the cammo'. But I have to say this looks so easy to carry and even when your friend just dropped down or laid down, he was unbelievable difficult to spot.
Initially I thought you must be selecting best position or body posture. But after a while even that didn't seem to matter too much.
I was also wondering about that comment you made about 'thermal'. Is that to prevent someone location you with a thermal lens? Just so impressive. I shall follow your link to the product page, thank you.

At 3:30 someone who doesn't look hard enough wouldn't be able to find him. But the scene before would be easily visible. Same with the scene right before 4:21 if you somehow cut his flank from behind

You need more than one camouflage pattern to blend into the different types of your natural surroundings

I don’t agree to your statement with the pattern 100%. But yes, obviously more different colored patterns are needed for a good effect.
I am not sure, but it I remember right, I told that there are three color variations of this pattern. And I think I didn’t say, that this is an universal color or whatsoever.
Or why do you think a completely different pattern/different shapes are needed for other environments?
Maybe I agree for an urban environment. But for most areas the pattern of Concamo will work just fine.

Seems to me the effectiveness of camo (patterns and colours) depends completely on the terrain, vegetation and season you're in. Specific camo for specific situations.
I’ve seen some videos of sniper schools showing hiding but this stuff is way better just sit or lay down 👍👍👍👍

Maybe. But not all uniforms or ghillies. And they most likely will not fit in a cargo pocket.

Nein, ist er nicht. Da würde die Luftdurchlässigkeit zu sehr drunter leiden. Daher lieber leicht und luftig.

It woks so well because it's 25 layers of different patterns micro and makro size and in a lot of different colors, it works like multicam but better it tricks your brain, so youre brain picks up the right colors and is blending it in to the backround
in addition to what @theawast2 said, it's multi-dimensional. most standard american camo is one dimensional, causing your SHAPE to be visible. however this 'ghost camo' works on the ghillie suit principle of adding dimension.

If there is one complaint about these uniforms is that they only work in a very specific environments.
Beige or Coiote tan are the less threatening colours for human eyes and hard to detect..
Have a try gest for curiosity how well are working in woodland as well.
