I bought some of the Prime 3.0 balls today. I was happy to see it in yellow. I am getting older and can’t follow the ball flight as well. The yellow helps. I liked the MTB Black and the MTB Prime previously, so I am excited to try the Prime 3.0.

I love the first iteration of these balls but when the logo changed the ball did as well. Is this iteration back to what it was? I know there have been manufacturing issues. Any news on this?

One wedge on my mtb prime and the cover cut. I basically go through a dozen balls in one round

What are the ball flight differences? Talked a little about spin but I like a low to mid flight would that make a difference on the ball choice?

I felt like the MTB Prime took a step back compared to the MTB Black in terms of the cover's stickiness / grip. When you rub the back of your fingernail on the ball, it doesn't provide the same feel as most top rated balls do. Has that been addressed with the new Prime 3.0?

Dean, we all hope that the durability is back to norm.
UPDATE: per some users, the durability issue is long gone.

Past Snell customer and would love to come back but………
    Not on 🇨🇦 website
No professional reviews, Shields, Finch, TXG, etc.
    Won’t ship to 🇨🇦
    Won’t respond to questions
Don’t see Seed, Vice, etc. having these issues

This is some terrible marketing. No words on flight, spin rates, or feel. Literally the only things people care about when choosing a golf ball.

They tell you compression. The 4.0 is between 85-90. That is similar to the ProV1 at 87. The 3.0 are 80-85 which is the same as the prime last year.

The 3.0 will spin more then the 4.0. The feel is very very similar. I can’t really tell a difference when hitting them side by side

Hate the new logo. Bring back the old cursive Snell logo. It was nice and classy. New logo just reminds me of Top-Flight. Other than that I’m sure the new models will be great just like every Snell ball since the beginning.
