    I play a Wilson Duo Soft. Around $20.00 a dozen. And I played them a very very long time and I’ve had no problems with them. The compression is perfect for my swing speed as a senior.

      @@lesmershon9197 Oh they’re a great ball for the price. They have distance, control. I have a natural draw and they’re perfect for my game absolutely perfect. And when I play with guys that use these Titleist Pro V Plus every time they go into the woods or the water they gotta spend 20 minutes looking for the thing because they’re so expensive.

      Try that business of testing the balls for balance in salt water that makes them float. See if that helps.

    The ball I've used recently and which I have found to be superior is the Bridgestone e12 Contact. Distance, flight, and - most importantly - the highly subjective topic of feel are better than the Titleist, Srixon, or anything else I've tried. The feel, especially off my irons, is hard to quantify but the e12 feels better than $50/dozen balls and is only $24.99/dozen at any retailer so price/performance wins the race for me. It putts well and also seems highly durable, so what's not to like? The balls surveyed in this video are premium balls but, IMO, the e12 beats them all.

    I’m do like the AVX but refuse to pay these high prices for golf balls which I lose too often. I’m quite happy with my Cosco Kirklands - a great all round ball at a very reasonable price.

    MyGolfSpy tested the 2023 Titleist Pro V1 and found it had an average compression of 87. That's on the high side and requires a higher swing speed. "The #1 ball in golf, the Pro V1 is a three-piece golf ball meant for swing speeds of 98-105 mph." (The Golf Ball Handbook). This is NOT suited for slower senior swing speeds which typically range between 60-80 mph. (The Titleist Pro V1x has an average compression of 96.)

    Pro v 1 for a senior who swings 80-90 mph ? Obviously this isn’t about what is an appropriate ball for seniors or people who don’t swing a club 100 mph+. May I suggest you actually take the time to research what might benefit seniors.

    The Titleist Pro V 1 is a great ball for my game. I haven’t found any of the less expensive Titleist balls to have a good feel to them.. They all seem to hard. As a senior I also like Callaway’s Crome soft or their Super Soft balls. Any of the major brands top shelf ball is generally a very good choice and their less expensive balls are just of average quality. So, if you don’t mind losing distance the Kirlkland ball is probably the best deal going for a decent all around quality ball.

    You should include cover material and price. These all seem to be the highest priced balls. You should do a video featuring the best balls under $30.00. There are good ones. One you should add to this list is the Taylor made Tour Response. The con is they have risen $10.00 in price 2 years. The plus is they have added many colors in a wide stripe option.

    Titleist velocity for me. I’m almost 69 in a month. I can tee up a pro v and a velocity will beat it every time. I only have about 85 mph club head speed now, but still average 240-255 off the tee. When I was 35 I could hit anything a long way. Now I just play a little cat game with all my senior buddies.

    With a compression of 100. Vice Pro plus is not recommended for Senior golfers in my world. Most seniors don't have enough swing speed for that ball. Pro V 1 not appropriate either. Taylormade Speed Soft is a far better choice for folks with slower swing speeds which is where the majority of most seniors reside.

    • @GolfTopicReviews
      @GolfTopicReviews  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You make a great point about golf ball compression and swing speed. The Vice Pro Plus does have a high compression, which might not be ideal for seniors with slower swing speeds. The Taylormade Speed Soft golf ball is indeed a fantastic option for those needing a softer feel and better distance at lower speeds. Happy golfing! 🏌️‍♂️

    • @GolfTopicReviews
      @GolfTopicReviews  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Absolutely! It's a valid question. The advancements in golf ball technology can seem overwhelming at times. While there's certainly a wide range of options available, the real difference often comes down to individual preference, swing characteristics, and playing conditions. Some senior golfers may find benefits with newer balls tailored to their swing speeds or preferences, while others may stick with what they know works for them. Ultimately, the best ball for you is the one that helps you play your best and enjoy the game. 😊🏌️‍♂️

    This is the biggest load of horse sh*t I have ever watched. Seniors need LOW COMPRESSION balls. Wilson Duo. Callaway Super soft. My go to back up ball has always been a Noodle. Used to be a Maxfli, now it is made my Taylor Made. I have played them all. Every ball at every price point. Duo, Supersoft and Noodle are my favs. They are not pushed by websites like these because the profit margin is much lower than the balls featured. I used to get rock flites to spin back in the day. I don't need a $4 golf ball to make it check.
