Ken, an online listing of the seasoning for that chicken consists of: Salt, sodium phosphates, hydrolyzed casein, modified corn starch, SUGAR, DEXTROSE, chicken broth, isolated soy protein lecithin and mono-and-diglycerides. So that chicken really isn't all that much better than the jerky that had sugar. In addition, I'm pretty sure they inject the chickens with a sodium solution to amp up the flavor. No matter what is true, there's a TON of salt in that chicken which is not healthy in that quantity.

Sorry to be a naysayer, and I’m not a diet expert, but I was a
Paleo eater for over 4 years. This Carnivore diet sounds like a BAD idea for overall health. The Paleo diet was hard on the body because you were replacing carbs, which are easy for your body to break down, with meat, which takes more work. I’ll be frank: How do people poop eating this diet? There’s little to no fiber allowed! And I’m not sure how you can lose weight on a diet that has to make you constipated. The Paleo diet led to constipation, and it allowed at least some carbs! Plus, similar to the Paleo diet, the point is to eat as naturally as possible; eating fast food, processed foods, and low quality meats are not tenets of these diets. And with the amount of sodium that’s being taken in, this could be damaging to the body long term, especially the kidneys. I don’t think this diet is safe, but if you’re going to spend the expense to do it, be cautious. Eat approved foods, and DON’T attempt to do this long term! Just my opinion and advice…

The Nutrition Facts allow for rounding. So if there's under .5g of sugar per serving, they can round down to 0. If you look at how many servings there were in the entire chicken and multiply by .5, it'd give you a pretty good indication of how much sugar was in it.

you lose weight on carnivore because you're not eating carbs. a gram of carb holds 3-4 grams of water in the body. if there are 400 less grams of carbs in your system that's 1600 grams less water. plus the several hundred grams/ thousand gram of carb/glucose that's not in your body. that could be 2500 grams less water/glucose. that's why you drop weight immediately. Also, meat is highly satiating, as is fat. you eat less calories = more weight loss

I put them on all my vehicles in Las Vegas NV because it's so hot in the summer so I set all the AC on when I get out of the vehicles and start them before I leave and it cools them down from 130°f in the summer. You also can add a low battery sensor that would start your van when it get low so the batteries don't get to low

Next, I like the thigh the most, followed by the wings, leg and lastly (and it's not even close) the breast. The last point is that if there is less than 0.5 grams of sugar per serving, it can be rounded down to 0 grams of sugar. Oh, and I'm sure everyone else said this, but chickens in the US Costco are $4.99.

People who eat a standard diet, i.e. three meals a day would think its expensive, but when you eat carnivore your appetite is suppressed and satiated that you dont eat nearly as much, carnivores rarely eat more than twice a day and actually if they would add up their food cost for three meals +/- snacks the price would be more than carnivore alone. $4.99 for a Rotisserie chicken here at my Costco in VA.

Here in Germany, a whole chicken costs around 5-6 euros (= 7.30 CAD) in the supermarket, but you usually have to prepare it yourself. A ready to eat chicken at a food truck costs around 10 euros (=14.6 CAD).
Great video, was great to watch! 👍

With nutrition facts it is all based on amount per serving and most of the time if it less than 1gram or however they scale it per serving, they can just say 0 sugar per serving. If it is 8 servings per chicken and it is technically .23grams of sugar per serving, they can list it as 0 per serving. So that would add up to like a gram total sugar for the entire chicken. Just the way the cookie crumbles. Gonna be impossible unless you are killing and cooking your own meat or know a good butcher shop.

Ken, I have eaten a rotisserie chicken by myself before. Love them. I save the bones in the freezer, and when I have a few carcasses, I use them to make a big batch of chicken broth and can it. Money-saving tip!

Im not carnivore anymore but i still try to stay below 40 carbs a day, if you go to costco again after your 30 days look out for amylu frozen chicken burgers and sausages, they are all organic, some have 0 to 1 carb per patty, taste great and are fantastic for a quick breakfast and lunch, especially if you have an air fryer
